Letting Wood and Shelvey go was a good move by the club IMO. We got £15m for a player who couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. He will have been on cushy wages too. It also helps keep club harmony and it shows Howe isn't a cunt. That will go a long way IMO with signing players. Shelvey was on a reported £80k+ a week so that's off the wage bill too.

Sooooo out I would have Gillespie - Final year of contract so looks like he's going Dummett - Final year of contract - Maybe get on the coaching / club side if Howe likes him? Lascelles Lewis - Would love him gone off the wage bill but he has a contract until '25? Manquillo Krafth - Will he be the same after a massive injury?
