Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
I am sick of saying it and it's getting on the wifes nerves too. Yesterday I was looking all sad and the wife was really worried and asked me what was wrong and I said "I cant believe he is still manager". She told me to get a life. -

Actually the last 10 minutes sound like they are coming into it. 75864 I think they've had more shots on target than us... 75869 Luque not having a great game. -

Castro and the Kennedy Assassination

That doesn't actually prove he wasn't shot from behind by Oswald, although I'm guessing you know this anyway 75769 Actually it does. For the bullet to have knocked him back and to the left it has to have taken a roundabout route. Seeing as a bullet changes shape and loses at least 1/3 of it's velocity with every target it hits (human body talking about here) it is inpossible for a bullet fired from Oswalds rifle to have knocked Kennedy back and to the left. 75780 Incorrect actually, ballistic evidence given in the Warren Commission investigation showed how it was possible. I've also seen an experiment where a water melon was shot at its base and it actually flew backwards, i.e. in the direction from which it was shot. None of this proves Oswald shot Kennedy from behind and made the 'back and to the left' action. It does however suggest it was completely possible. 75782 Take a look at the bullett the warren commission say made the shot. It is in perfect nick. Can you let me know where you saw the watermelon experiment, what rifle was used how far away the shot was was grade round was used what angle it was taken at if it had passed through 2 other bodies first and what way a watermelon is anything like a human body? -

This may sound strange coming from me as I am a Souness hater and never wanted to give him time and punt him straight away but I agree. The thing about Souness is he has never learned. he has never progressed with modern football. he is still doing the same things and making the same mistakes he did when at Rangers (ask Ally McCoist). He was just lucky that the rest of the league was complete pants then. If Roeder makes good changes and improves things it will show that he is different and has learned from previous mistakes. that he has gone away and studied. Well thats my tuppence in. 74463 Out of interest, what would McCoist say if I asked him? P.S. Roeader - nooooooooooooooooooo!!! 74482 He'd say that despite being top scorer he fell out with Souness and never started another game while he was there. Famously walked to the dug out with a teapot and mug one game.

Bollocks to a grassy knoll. Lets do it democratically. One man one rock! Hopefully we can get more than 30% of the nation to participate in this though. -

So what's your stance now Gemmill, out of interest? Are you finally going to admit you were wrong in your assertion that Souness should be given a minimum of 2 years to prove himself, regardless of results and performances on the field, and his PR off it? Can we finally expect an "I was wrong" Gemmill exclusive? 73771 If Souness does go now/or in the coming week(s), he hasn't had a proper chance to prove himself really. Any manager, regardless of who they are needs at least one full season in charge to do this. Of course, that ignores what most of us initially thought, i.e. he should never have been appointed in the first place. By getting rid now, without giving him a decent chance, Shepherd will be proving what a fuck up he made in the first place. 73775 I agree with Jose Mourinho who said "The great lie is that managres need time. A good manager should be able to change things straight away. That is what we do we manage what we have" -

I suppose you're looking for a more in depth answer than. "Because he is a witless gimboid" -
What's so 'exciting' about them like? I like them but they're just your standard 4-piece rock band playing pop aren't they? some clever Lyrics. It seems to me people are believing the hype. I'd say to be exciting you need to do something new, like Lightning Bolt or Antony and the Johnsons. 73356 I fail to see any excitment in Antony and the Johnsons personally. 73365 Probably because they aren't in The Sun's Bizarre column often enough. Their record company should really pay off a few more journalists. As I said I really like The Arctic Monkeys, but The Rakes are just as good and their album wasn't pushed half as much. The hypefest that's gone on around them for over a year since I bet that you look good on the dancefloor has irked me. That's all. 73373 Pretty sure it hasnt been out for that long. But really arguing about music is a pointless exercise. For gods sake some people still think Oasis are a good band.

To be fair the bars are normally ok, it's just the club that is shit. But like you say they might have burnt themselves out already. 71253 Thats what happens when you still use gas to provide the lighting. Fumes get to everyones head. Your own fault for living in Consett really

Any chance of an English or equivalent translation? I think I have been away from the charva areas of the N.E. too long.

He drove over it another 10 fucking times?! 71064 People who commit crimes of animal cruelty always get pitiful sentences. Boils my piss tbh. 71070 I've battered a few pussies in my time - does that mean I should be put in chokey like? 71072 Yeah and Jimbo has choked many a chicken and spanked loads of monkeys.
