  1. ah but i didn't say it was my favourite. its just a bit weird really. photoshopped tbh. and as for the trannies no chance. i'm not good enough for them!
  2. i'd agree with gram saying barton is a better forward thinking player than parker. he's been manchester city's best player in the last 2 seasons. shame he has all of the turmoil that surrounds him. as a lead by example player he should (on his on pitch performances) be a captain in his own right as i've not seen many players that try as hard as him. if sam gets his head right i reckon barton will be good for us.
  3. look at what allardyce did for diouf, he turned him from a player with an attitude problem to an effective forward (creator of goals not really scorer of goals). i reckon he will and barton is on an improvement curve in terms of playing ability. long term if he does get into shit then i think we'll actually have a clause in his contract to stop him.... one thats actually legally binding, not one thats written on the back of a greggs bakery wrapper....
  4. that jeff wayne album has a nice cover but the music is pretty dreadful (except track1 of course!).

just you. though depends on what you were doing?
  6. I like this. and the thom yorke cover thats been posted.
  7. Did you read the rest of this thread like? yes, just thought i'd confirm my source just in case.
  8. bentley, every time i've watched him play is more effectove coming in from the right, he scores more than he makes. don't think he's our solution for the left side. oh and lampard has been way less effective than gerrard through the middle for england this season. good in 2003-4 perhaps but the last couple of years he's not been the player he was in an england shirt.
  9. couldn't agree more about jenas. worst player on the pitch when he came on. simply not good enough!
  10. owens movement was good but he really needs a target man to play off. doesn't exactly look quick either. beckam and gerrard were our best players for me. carragher looked uncomfortable at right back. lampard was shite again.
  11. http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/...=rss&feed=5 signed for undisclosed fee.
  12. not exactly robert pires/ fatty lampard alike goal scoring figures though are they.
  13. forgot to add, he had a handful of outstanding games in their 05-06 season, and was excellent in the cup final too incosistent, and too full of himself. doesn't create enough or score enough goals, worth about £3m in the current market.

  15. there is nothing special about him, just a competent midfielder who beleives his own hype.
  16. nice to see lada have updated their range of cars.
  17. ah see what you did there.....
  18. could be seen as good news, if he shows willing to stay for at least a year, then i think he would do the biz for us. hasn't stopped talking about becoming englands top goalscorer though has he? selfish mug.

    Nonda?

would do a job. would rather have the othe blackburn player, mccarthy, quality forward.
  20. if the bid is true we should cash in. parker is no way worth 8.5m, and has yet to justify his wages. a lot of that was the previous managers tactics that restricted players like him going forward. not that he's any good going forward but he's not a typical sitting player or a attacking midfielder, he's a box to box player. and not a bad one at that. just not worth 8.5 million (more like 4)...
  21. hyppia's off to wigan according to the beeb. whilst great in the air his pace is completely gone. not good enough tbh.
  22. biggest load of shite on the telly.... ever.
  23. was going to say he looks pretty much as he did before but without all of the tremendous acceleration. does make you wonder.
