Modric has been pretty good after a quiet start imo. Looks like a player, unfortunately. modric has been very good since a quiet start. for me the biggest impact has been arshavin. very very very good player.

i say stick with the same starting team as monday. we need to be mindful of johnsons runs and his diving if he plays. put one midfielder on on murphy when he's free and we'll snuff out about 50% of their attacking threat. play the left midfielder slightly narrower so duff can overlap, he seems to have more joy doing that than actually being direct. keep guthrie on corner and free kick duty.

With Ameobi being offered a new deal , Carroll on the books and the fact that Martins is still here.. Would it be benificial to the club to keep Lovenkrands. He would be a bench warmer most probably. And with Nile Ranger coming through the academy I don't know if it's the best idea for the club plenty of speed, can finish as well. but has the heart of an aphid. impact sub is really the only place i can see him fitting in next season.
