i've 8 months left on my contract. and i'm with orange. will be migrating to vodafone soon after because all of my orange based friends are on vodafones tarrifs now and they are far better value for money. iphones not on vodafone. also my corporate contract will be on vodafone.

now that i am back in gainful employment, and have ebayed some goodies off, i'm in the market for a new portable mp3/video player. i've had a play arund with the ipod touch and it seems very good but a bit expensive.... any reccomendations?

I absolutely disagree with you. (except the wish it was all over bit!) our training pitches are a different surface to the standard pitches. how can a team prepare properly without identical pitches for home games. our medical diagnosis and treatment facilities aren't up to the job (hence too many injuries for this season (and most previous seasons)).... our scouting network is shite. collocini... gonzalez etc etc etc.... our first team and reserves aren't good enough (justified by our league position) our manager is inexperienced ( but i do think he has enough savvy to get us going long term) the chairman and board of directors are corrupt lieing impulsive gits. that don't want to spend money. other than that we are all good eh?

I'd suggest this club is far worse than that in terms of the people in charge and the majority of the playing and coaching staff. its the worst run club in the premier league.

Worried. That my club will go down and not come back up for a few years. For some reason though i do think we can do something on the last day. I don't know whether it will be enough , however.

in this climate stick with it. i've been out of work for 7 weeks now and its painful. dealing with thick recruitment consultants is soul destroying. luckily i have a couple of interviews this week, and i will nail one of them.

going back to centrebacks we all rated, hughes spent a fair bit of time at right back. during his time here he was part of a side that came 3rd 4th and 5th in the league and was a regular. how that fuckwit souness ever got rid of him for £1m i don't know. I know bobby robson rated him, as did the coaching team at villa, and he's highly regarded at fulham. this is really just one example of how we can get it so very wrong. another thing is selling players off as soon as they hit 30. les ferdinand being a prime example....

he's more suited to lb than lw. nowadays at least. looks like a rabbit staring into oncoming traffic on the wing. could maybe do a job as a attacking midfielder in the hole if his movement wasn't so predictable.

We've obviously been spoiled to some extent but I never rated Given as much as most people did. He was clearly a very good keeper but I don't think his command of the back line was anything to shout about and his distribution was usually average at best. He LOOKED like a good keeper from an acrobatic point of view on many occasions but I wouldn't put him in the Schmichel bracket by a long way. Bassong's had a few poorer games lately...Enrique was written off in his first season etc etc... the point I'm making is that I don't think Harper's costing us points although he seems to be the fashionable player to knock at the moment for some reason. We're on the same page re: Given but he's a class above anything I've seen in goal for us all the same. true enough but his communication to the back 4 and kicking were shit. still are at city. other than that though, probably the best keeper in the premier league at most other things.... harper is not as good and currently plays rather too nervously for my liking.

he's probably our best paid defender... and for what.
