The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread 2018 -2019

In all probability Mitrovic would have scored that penalty. I've said more than once I don't think Rafa gave Mitro a fair chance to prove himself. -

Honestly can't attach blame to Ashley after dropping 2 points at home to Burnley. The blame isn't hard to place when we have more possession, more chances, more shots, more everything, and miss a penalty. That blame rests entirely on Joselu, and to some degree the ones responsible for letting, or electing him, to take it. Joselu also takes the blame for missing a sitter. The blame does not rest on Darlow for the own goal, the defense should not have allowed him to be put in that position, they were a shambles towards the end. Darlow's own goal would have been meaningless had Joselu scored the penalty. The penalty miss cost us the loss of 2 points. -

I really don't think we needed another Keeper! Quality outfield players are what was needed. I think Elliott and Darlow could have seen us through the season. -

Last day. Last throw of the dice. How many of us are resigned to getting nobody, but still desperately hoping we will? If Stoke and Brighton both get a win or a draw on Wedneday, and we lose to Burnley, we'll be in the bottom 3. -

Ashley must have a plan, to be as rich as he is, and be as shrewd a business man as he is, he must have a plan! Question is, what is it? He well knows the financial difference between being in the Premier or the Championship, and so he should, he's seen us relegated twice and promoted twice during his tenure as owner. Is he banking on Rafa keeping us in the Premier league with the squad he's got, and not investing in strengthening the squad which is obviously needed as anyone can see. If so, that's a pretty wild, and probably a stupid business plan, especially when you consider a takeover may be dependent on staying up. Going down would obviously mean he'd have to reduce his asking price if anyone was now interested. SO, what is his plan, what is he thinking, is it a game he's playing? Even a rich businessman is always seeking ways to make more money! -

Can't believe you're so fucking stupid Ashley. Under no fucking circumstances will I ever forgive you. Not in a million fucking years. That's a fucking long time Ashley. -
FA Cup 4th Round - Chelsea (or Norwich) v Newcastle
Noelie replied to wykikitoon's topic in Newcastle Forum
Was surprised to see Mbemba, Saivet, & Haidara all start, but not perturbed as I've always touted them. The lads acquitted themselves fairly decent in performance but there was the usual wasteful sloppy passing, surrendering the ball too easily, and the inability to capitalize on the chances forthcoming, and we had some chances. First goal was poor defending, second was unfortunate deflection, and third was a cracking free kick. After todays performance I wonder who will start on Wednesday. I have to wonder why Merino is not getting playing time, he has shown he is a decent player. -

Be angry, be pissed off, be fuming, be madder than hell, be ballistic, pout if you like, but don't be unduly surprised if this January window closes with nee bugger other than Kenedy coming in to enhance our survival chances. Mind you, I wouldn't be surprised if we get some last ditch mediocre additions on the final day, grasping at straws, pouring burning oil on the troubled waters. -

Watching those goals by Jorgensen I couldn't help but think of the supreme poacher Jimmy Grieves. A majority when he scored, he was in the goalie's box, and some were scrappy, and none of his goals were goal of the week ranked. However, goals count no matter how they are achieved, and goal scoring has to be our biggest weakness. -

List of potential strikers we already have on board; Atsu, Richie, Aarons, Murphy. Noelie is stupid and demented you are saying but.............................. He can remember that Wor Jackie was a right-winger long before he became our legendary centre-forward. -

Quite frankly, I don't know if he's a quality upgrade to our squad, his playing position is not one off our weaker positions unless he's considered for left-back as a replacement for Dummett, which I doubt. Left sided players we have are Dummett, Manquillo, Haidara, Aarons, Atsu, and possibly Richie, Gamez, or Murphy who could play either side. -

Well I give a fuck. In the Premier League I get to view all Newcastle games live on TV or PC streams. In the Championship maybe two or three if I'm lucky.
