  1. Which I assume could mean one of two things, either its intended as a slight sweetener for prospective purchasers ie not exactly due the day they buy the club but at some later date or worryingly, the club repays it when he decides, in other words he has a bad day gambling on the stock exchange and decides to recoup his losses by calling in the debt. Personally, Im more willing to believe its the second option ie giving him leeway to call it in at anytime. Im waiting to see St James Holdings accounts which are also overdue with Companies House.
  2. That's what we owed Ashley at end of last season which must be repaid when we're sold plus £35m more on overdraft. Financially sound
  3. His mothers brown breed though so thats safe however the child will be Phils uncle/ aunt.
  4. He says, typing on his computer over the internet, without a trace of irony. To be honest Parky, you've never really demonstrated you understand the principles of science. Scientific principles are one thing, the implementation of those principles is quite another. The latter happens via human beings, so may not always be as perfect as people might wish. Look at the scientific community's treatment of Tesla vs Edison for instance. You wouldn't believe them if they said the things they've seen went over their heads, they've been patient heaven knows they seem to care and so it goes. They can't sit still or settle down and when they walk they don't touch the ground, see those girls they're heaven blessed. I guess it's so they know best.
  5. Thats absolutely fantastic news.......its a nightmare getting Ryder cup tickets Top news on the little fella, at this rate we'll be able to open a Toontastic match day creche.
  6. The new advertising photos were done yesterday with the players, unfortunately nobody seemed to be willing to kop a picture for early viewing
  7. You create a web page as such however theres a lot of complexity around HMTL emails, because of Outlook not adhering to the standards at all then you've basically got to create the page using the old method of tables rather than nice, proper semantic markup. You need a fixed width to the mail rather than a fluid design as that wont work correctly. You also have to set your DOCTYPE correctly otherwise you simply get gumph out at the other end. You'll need to test it in a range of email clients too as many act totally differently. If you send me the webpage you want, I'll convert it and show you how it needs to be done (as long as you've got time for me to do it at the weekend.)
  8. Folk tales loosely based on fact ascribed to the work of Yahweh at a later date probably sums up most of the Old Testament when you think about it. You mock an eyewitness now? have you no shame?
  9. So Noah and his family were the only people saved and it was his sons that then repopulated the world Thats Noah, his wife and their three sons saved out of all mankind... so who did the lads hump to get us going again?

  12. Weatherspoons comes highly recommended by the locals.
  13. Ahhh right, so it cant be a house because ones never been found that high up but it can be a boat washed up after a flood. Makes perfect sense.
  14. Exactly, either get somebody like Dein who is on the business side but knows what's required at football clubs unlike Llambias, or leave it alone as getting a "football" person just puts them in conflict with the manager and the last thing we need is to go back to unstability and internal conflicts. Also if you got somebody who isn't a slimy, odious little cunt then they're a step up from Llambias. thats a bit harsh..... a slimy, odious little cunt would still be a step up from Llamarse.
  15. So theres a version of American Football where you dont have contact? Whats the use in that? surely the only even slightly interesting bit of American Football is the contact?

Cheers mate and to all that voted Lucky Escape mate We'll see, I do have my own view that now its just too much toward Yes We can without taking a step back and reviewing the situation. As one of the few questioning voices from the start its now fairly nailed on to push on with it. Not that its a bad thing, just sometimes I think people can ge lost in the dream of something without seeing the wider picture. Overall though its a good mix of people who can take forward this Trust and try to advance it.
  17. Summat tells me its been a while since you ventured down the smoke. It costs a small fortune. Try Bergamo, half an hour from Milan, proper scenic Italian town.

  19. Never went away tbh, the only reason they're thinking of "bringing one in" would be to have someone sitting above Hughton saying "dont want to buy him for £6m nah you wanna buy this kidda from South America for a pony, look here on youtube hes class".
  20. Time to turn the screw methinks
  21. well work blocks it so Im not convinced. Plus it lists Steven Gerrard among its members * *allegedly.
  22. How long does it take to fix a double-broken jaw which has a patient feeding through a straw? Luke? and for the record, stated that And also just to observe about the guardian, only 1 of our last 4 games has a match report, generated by the local correspondent for Plymouth. Has the Guardian stopped bothering with us? It seems that the only recent articles on their site on us are from the Press Association. All seems strange to me, as if someone is in a massive huff. I reckon that everytime shes stopped writing about us because every time she even thinks the word "Newcastle" she chokes on her own cock.
  23. Ive been doing a little researching and out of the 24 Championship clubs, 11 had their highest attendance against us, these were In total we gave these 11 clubs an additional 54,901 fans over their average (they would fill SJP and have 2,514 stood outside). Difference between our highest attendance and 2nd highest attendance (Sheff Wed) was 19,171 this is greater than the highest attendance of 9 other clubs and higher than the average attendance of 14 of them. It also trumps the average attendance of 2 Premiership clubs (Portsmouth and Wigan). Average attendance wise, we have 14,242 more on average than Derby who had the 2nd highest average. These extra fans make up more of a crowd than the average gate of 8 clubs and beat the highest gates of 3 of them (2 of those 3 were against us). Our total attendance (997,916) was 357,252 more than Derby (640,664), this difference again, is higher than the total attendance of both Portsmouth and Wigan. Compared to the makems we had 278,809 more in total. Even if we put them on an even footing by giving them 4 more games at their average its still 119,009 higher (these additional fans would fill their ground 2.4 times). Country wise we are the 3rd best supported club in the land only Man U and Arsenal have higher total attendances (1,347,108 and 1,078,574 respectively) against our 997,916. Average wise our 43,388 puts us in 4th place overall with Man City joining Man U and Arsenal above us.
