Theres still time, why not create a website, in fact I'll even order the domain name for you...klinsforthetoon.com now get out there and research golf courses my good man. Fat Sam IS taking a step down by coming here and a gamble. He could have stayed at Bolton and kept them ticking along, never getting into the Champions League but just motoring nicely or he can take what is arguably one of the biggest challenges in football by working for Fred, taking more transfer funds and seeing what he can do with some big name players. He was never going to get the budget at the Reebok to give him the chance to push for greater things, here he probably will. He knows he was guaranteed a job for life at Bolton now hes living on his wits. As for how long hes got, I for one will be happy if in the next 2 seasons he manages to stabilise us and stop the stupid results, getting us results against those we should be beating and stop us from throwing games away. Bring some belief into the team and sort out the backroom staff by getting people who are actually qualified not just because they were born here/ played for us. This is a club with the potential to be big, we are not big (in footballing terms) anymore, yes we have the fanbase and the turnover but we're behind the likes of Bolton, Portsmouth, Spurs and Villa in the way we are ran and the likelihood of moving forward. I've given up deluding myself that we are going to employ the biggest names in management, given up the belief that we will win the league or for that matter even a cup. What I do have at the moment is the optimism that we are finally looking to move in the right direction, that Freds finally realised what we have all secretly know for at least 3 seasons (that we are not a challenge to the big 4) and that he once and for all is looking to a longer term plan. For those reasons and those alone, I have faith in the appointment of Big Sam.

Ahhh Twin Farms, a nice looking place where you get fook all and pay friggin loads. Rather pretentious for Kenton tbh although its the only place I know that serves Black Pudding on a Pork Sunday lunch.

J69 in "a girl stood up for me so Im gonna push it and push it shocker"

No brown envelopes stuffed with cash (unless they're being paid to me). On a serious answer though, no bullshit (if we're crap say we are) no talking about yourself in the 3rd person, if I ever hear the line "Sam Allardyce will not lie down for anyone" then you can fook right off.

Im not sure I go for the Clark baiting, Ive seen nothing to say hes shite at what he does or that he doesnt have the best interests of the club at heart. At the same time it shouldnt be Shepherds role to decide who is in suh an important job as Reserve team coach that should be down to the manager (shouldnt it?) as these are the players who may well play a part in the season and therefore need to be coached to the same standards etc as the first team.

Im sorry but I dont see the difference, you are paying money to the club to go and see some games. Thats not a protest thats simply picking and choosing your matches. You cannot take the moral high ground with people when you arent prepared to follow your own actions through fully. Not at all. I don't blindly assume the club is going to do anything right any more and put money up up front. If I feel like going I do, I'm not giving Fred the security of knowing he his safe for yet another year. It's not a blind protest, but when I do go it is in full acceptance of the current situation, chairman manager and players. The difference being I have no presonceptions about what I'm going to see, and don't feel obliged to go on the back of lies and promises of 6 months back. The difference being that if we do well regardless of Fat Boy still being there then you will go along more often and maybe end up at every game, you therefore will end up putting more money into the clubs coffers than those who buy a season ticket.... If you said you were not going to another game until Fred had gone regardless of how well we play then I would respect that. At the moment all I see is a "fair weather fan" who wants to tell others not to go while still selecting the games that take his fancy ie Man U, Chelsea, Arse, Liverpool and washing the car during Sheff United, West Ham, Reading etc No offence meant on the fair weather fan bit but thats how it can be perceived.

Then stop sitting on the sidelines giving out advice and do something about it, its easy for someone to sit faceless behind a computer and tell others to stop spending money, dont buy your season ticket etc while still doing it themselves. Set up a protest group and make yourself heard. Theres 100Mb of webspace here for you to get started, that is if you are serious. I haven't bought a shirt or a season ticket since SBR got the sack. A protest group would achieve nothing, it's clear there is no real support for doing the unthinkable. So are you saying you have not been to a match in three years? And (playing devils advocate here) can you prove thats not just down to personal circumstance or even laziness rather than as a protest? There is no use in protesting alone, set out your aims and build up a band of people all doing the same otherwise frankly, you're just another person who cant be arsed/ cant afford/ isnt allowed by the missus to go to the match. I've picked and chosen my matches since, although this might change next year with the credit cards, as tickets might not be so available. I dont think anyone is really dancing in the streets on this and yes its just another chapter in the NUFC saga however its the passing of (yet another) bad period. I am happy because for once Fat Boy has managed to do a sacking at the right time and (appears) to have a replacement lined up rather than letting Roedent spend 20million before sacking him and taking anyone available 5 weeks into the season. So Fred is given credit for hiring Glen for two years and firing him after one? On the justification that he won't waste £20m? What about the fact we now have a squad of players assembled under 3 managers, some of which most probably won't suit the requirements or style of the next manager, requiring more money to be spent anyway? And that includes the presumption that this time Fred appoints someone who won't waste £20m on crap And the alternative? Stop pretending that FF ever does anything right and stop supporting him by buying tickets / shirts etc etc So basically stop supporting newcaslte united because our chairman is shit? Why not? Do you think we are going in the right direction? Do you class being happy at 5 managers in 10 years and booing the team as 'support'? I really hope you're not using my post as proof that Im happy with the situation here? What Im saying is the sacking of Roeder was done at a better time than the alternative. I may have given FFS credit but it was through gritted teeth

Anybody who was there on Saturday (and the many times before that) could see that Roedent was out of his depth. Its been said a thousand times before but hes the only manager (sorry ex-manager) I know that stands on the touchline until the opposition scores and then sits down and shuts up!
