In addition, I reckon that Sammy boy wouldnt come without some knowledge that he was going to be backed with money moreso than he was at Bolton otherwise why leave for a job he (allegedly) turned down a year ago? Especially not to a club which is frankly moving in the opposite direction to Bolton. That's making the assumption that it IS Allardyce. 12 months ago, many of us were convinced Martin O'Neill was on his way but Fred changed his mind / stalled / fucked up. Im not sure Im 100% happy with Allardyce however its fairly nailed on tbh. At the end of the day, Sam left Bolton for a reason, it was meant to be the end of the season but it was brought forward by the Bolton board. That either means he had a new job or was retiring. Theres no reason why Roeder needed to go today, 1 game left of the season and nothing to play for, its obvious that for once our fat chairman may have actually done things properly and attracted a manager before having to go for the panic option. Hopefully this means the end of Terry "bookies runner" Mac, that man has survived for years without actually doing anything. As for Clarky, we take the piss but maybe it would be a good thing for him to stay and take a less prominent role while actually learning the trade from big Sam. At the same time, clear out and bring in Sams people will do me fine.

I agree that overall Fat Fred is to blame, I mean anyone could have told him Roeder wasnt upto the job but at the end of the day Glenn is the one who made the decisions, the non existant substitutions, the shite signings (or lack of signings) and the bollocks he comes out with during press conferences. I dont feel at all ashamed for the many many slaggings Ive given him.

Again though this all shows the club to be the pile of shite it really is. The rules are that sackings etc cant be announced until the stock market have been notified yet FFS does it on a Sunday afternoon (before a bank holiday) and ensures that theres more than just the core people that know thereby making sure it gets out and calms the masses. Unless of course the stock market was notified on Friday?

Dear Glenn, Sorry it didnt work out, I personally would have been over the moon if you'd been the man to turn this club around but unfortunately you werent. I know Ive given you shit in the past and frankly no offence mate but you've deserved that shite and more to boot but no hard feelings. So you reckon Owen worked harder than Martins? Thats borne out of the Shearer school of supporting tbh, ie its Michael Owen hes too good to criticise. Personally I thought Nobby, Milner and Butt were the only ones who should escape the criticism (even then Butt didnt have anything like the game hes capable of).
