  1. Listen man all this is meaningless. We've been fucking with them for years and now they're fucking with us. Lets not start pretending we're the innocent party here. We cannot attack them in any conceivable way without endangring the lives those sailors. For me the prime mission here is to get them back whatever it takes. If we want to cause mischief in Iran later...That is a different matter.
  2. I guess you just select the one thats nearest to it, now whats the closest to Castrol GTX? does that not burn at high temperatures ? I always ensure my girls are smokin Thats one thing that drives me mad, the smell of burning rubber and loud continual screaming....
  3. Aye. It would be a f*cking bloodbath all round. No. Question would better be phrased: Would you risk someone you love/family/friend for the sake of Big Oil. But equally a follow up question would be; would you stop using oil (and all the derivatives there of)? You need to elaborate on this as there are many complex ans... On a basic level you do realise that over the next 25yrs or so we are all going to have to move away from oil to other forms of energy...And I don't just mean not using plastic bags or driving a car.. Which is surely all the more reason to stop using oil NOW is it not? (such as stop wearing out your oil based monitor by surfing and posting on this site which is a frivolous and completely unnecessary squandering of the Earths resources!) The ans to all this bollocks is TESLA.
  4. ....shhhh you'll give the game away!!

  8. If I feign illness what is the best one to get sympathy from the wife?
  9. .....its almost like he's got verbal diarrohea...
  10. All that is missing now is a reference to good old Lady Luck... ....I think GR thinks he's being clever with all these litlle press snippets...Muppet.
  11. Beckham is not the answer though. No, that's what the crowd was chanting I know. Whilst I agree that Beckham isn't the answer, we need a captain out there today, Terry has done fuck all to rally the troops, Beckham probably would have had more of an influence, and more than likely would have stuck that freekick in the back of the net. The comment about Joe Cole was spot on too, we definetly miss him on the left. Overpaid PL puffs....Clueless the lot of em.
  12. You're not a celebrity unless you're a fucked up, a skank or a ho' in the states. The don't call the land of opportunity because they're a charitable lot. Because celebrities anywhere else are much better. The US celebs are celebs in other countries too, whereas we have people like Jade & Pete Doherty. Australia has the cast of Neighbours. Woohoo. Thanking the god lord above, Neighbours cast members are only celebrities in the UK, so the point of your argument is what? Read the sentence again and don't be offended Ben, you may turn out to be a celebrity of substance in the states. The point of my argument is that celebrities are fucked up and skanky just about everywhere, and especially bad in Britain, where we create celebs out of non-entities who don't have the talent or looks to justify their status- they've just been on reality TV and made tits of themselves. I added the bit about Australia to include you. I couldn't think of any bona fide Aussie celebs, though. That Gladiators actor?

A smooth and clean backtrack. Only if I said it in the first place numbnuts. *Alex wanders down the street not a hair out of place, calmly fiddling with her ipod as she plans her next heineous and bloodcurdling tirade against Perth.*

  15. This is the area where Iran keeps its high speed patrol boats armed with the latest anti-shipping 'Silkworm missiles' from China. One is enough to cripple an aircraft carrier or sink most military ships.
  16. Aye that's probably fairly true, and as I said before in the case of the 2004 issue it may have been that the Iranians believed they HAD crossed over (at least arguably). But that was within the water ways themselves, this current seizure was further out into open water. Not only are these waters not really changing (which is one of the big issues with the inner delta and river waters as the boundaries sometimes change from year to year, or even season to season, with shifting flows and sands etc. - which is partly why this boarder is SO disputed), but also the boats in question will be not only monitoring their own position in 2-3 ways, but their base ship (and possibly other craft and aircraft) would have been monitoring their position in 1-2 different ways as well. They'd have had to have set off back to their ship in entirely the wrong direction AND ignored their own navigation and checks from their command for a significant period of time to make it into Iranian waters. The timing of the “infringement” is also amazingly coincidental and handy for the Iranian regime. Aye but (while I'm in no way an apologist for the Iranian regime) they could have been spying there and it's not like I trust our military or government to tell us the truth if they were (and nor should they). I accept the Iranians are probably the ones in the wrong here though. Hope the lads are back home safely soon regardless. In all reality there is a chance even if it is a small one that they were in Iranian waters or close and they 'might' have been spying (no one will ever know)..The one fact is that the Iraninan Govt is very jumpy atm with all the continued talk of sanctions and plans of surgical strikes or whatever. Finally the soloution will be a diplomatic one and I hope our lads get back safely.
  17. ....another day more bollocks from Roeder.

  21. Hadn't thought about that...Must have been awesome... It was on a December day in the year of 1945, near the town of Nag Hammadi in Upper Egypt, that the course of Gnostic studies was radically renewed and forever changed. An Arab peasant, digging around a boulder in search of fertilizer for his fields, happened upon an old, rather large red earthenware jar. ......he was probably hoping it was a gourd full of ripe dates or summat..

  23. Yes. There are two coastal ridges apparently where they found this stuff. I personally beleive Civ has been through troughs and peaks before. Do you think we're in a peak or trough right now? You bugger!! I can't ans that incase I prejudice my intelligence.
