Why couldnt Lewis just admit what he did was wrong and apologise like a man. Instead he says hes sorry but then puts all the blame on Dave Ryan. What a great 'team' effort! I have a couple but cant remember my photobucket log in My son isnt here so cant do it for me and I'm off to bed now as I worked last night and back in tonight. ( though probably still too excited to sleep)!! I havent had an avatar since my beloved Nobby one 'sighs' I love the pic of Shearer with the bloody head bandage on. Thank you in anticipation.

It's make or break this season imo. You can forget about rebuilding in the foreseeable if we don't stay up and I can't see him being here next year, should that happen. And there's a good chance he won't be here next season regardless. I think we've got a fighting chance of staying up now though. I rekon (or maybe more hoping) that whether we stay up or go down, Shearer will by then have been bitten by the challenge of being Toon Boss, I cant see him easily relinguishing the reins to anyone else. He's Mr Determind himself. Once he has his own people around him, if he's able to do that then I cant see him wanting to walk. I wonder if he'll bring Mike Newell in.

Well I'm flabbergasted!!!! Someone on my facebook hinted at this yesterday at noon by the way, but couldnt say anymore. I thought it was an April fool's too. Im so hyper now I cant sleep. I rekon Shearer probably despises Ashley but has put that aside because of his genuine and obvious love for his club. I dont care what Ashley's motives are- we now have a chance, perhaps not of staying up but hopefully of rebuilding the club we all love. Im torn in two really because I've always wanted Shearer in charge but not untill he'd gained some managerial experience elsewhere (preferably at Torquay united ) Im so scared it will go wrong and spoil my dream. Still, something had to be done and BigAl seeing the complete shambles we are in probably felt almost compelled to step in, theres no one I'd rather have in charge.
