  1. I wanted a boy, but it was me who bought him up to like football and took him to a match every week
  2. That is so true slp, Def Leppard being one of mine I realise now they were incredibly corny, but i loved them. And I WANT! And I NEED! And I LUST! ANIMAL! Top song

  4. I rekon some ginners do have a chip on their shoulder and can be defensive even bad tempered....probably as a result of being bullied every day at school just because of their hair colour!
  5. Have you tried looking on the Cheltenham Race Course website? Just a thought. Yes, if no one on here knew then that would have been my next plan! Didnt see any harm in asking on here first as this is a horsey racing thread.
  6. Supposed to be going to Cheltenham Fri May 4th/Sat May 5th...as I know sod all about horse racing, can anyone tell me if theres a horse racing meeting that weekend please? If so, I'll avoid the place like the plague!
  7. I hate this over dramatic shite, yes it wasn't nice but this whole acting as if it has scarred the silly fuck for life craic is taking the piss. Agree entirely....next she'll want compensation for the hurt and pain it caused her.
  8. I wouldn't mind doing being a kid again and going to school, but the thought of starting my work life again isn't all that appealing. I'm 10 years into this torture now!? So you obviously took the 'hate your job but retire at 30(ish) route then?
  9. That's tough, I mean I often wish I could go back and tell the younger version of myself to do this, that and the other differently, but starting all over again is a different matter. Obviously you wouldn't be aware of ever having been someone else, but I'd rather work on making myself a decent and generally wonderful person in this life, even if I have gone 28 years without bothering so far. Its certainly thought provoking, the chance to be someone else is appealing, the chance to be young again. But on reflection, I think of those shitty school years, plus you could end up being born into an awful life with a violent uncaring mackem family living in a slum in Sunderland!!
  10. Would you rather just carry on being who you are now OR start again and be a totally different person?
  11. If you think that's bad, you should see the kind of thing they get up to at the weekend: thats it, they deserve to suffer in hell for eternity
  12. True, but then again we dont know what we may experience after death do we? What are you anticipating? I'm guessing a morbid fear her soul will live on in her body after it has deceased. Not sure cremation is comforting either in those circumstances though. Like when General Zod (?) gets stuck in that mirror on Superman 2? Exactly. Anyway, who was it that said words along the line of "I don't fear death. I was dead 100 years ago and it never bothered me then. Why should it in 100 years time?". Wise words, wish I had 100% confidence in them. I cant believe you two watch superman films I can't believe you take it up the bum! Then you're very right not to believe it
  13. I rekon this suits you better
  14. Oblivion.....I wouldnt want to chance it

  16. True, but then again we dont know what we may experience after death do we? What are you anticipating? An after-life, where The Toon win absolutely EVERYTHING, I can eat as much chocolate as I like and i stay 21
  17. True, but then again we dont know what we may experience after death do we? Such as? I have no idea! but i have a very open mind. We probably just die and thats it, end of! Or maybe we do feel something? Perhaps we do have a spirit? Though i dont believe in a god as such, but i rekon this is all planned like a cycle, we are supposed to eventually kill our own planet and die off completely in the end. It is just a cycle that is supposed to happen.

  19. The second one, definitely not. Even if you were allowed to live to 100 or whatever age (within reason) you wanted. Don't really care what happens to my body after death. But if you knew the date of your death, surely you'd live your life to the full? And I'd want to be cremated, the thought of being enclosed in a coffin then buried terrifies me. I know I hear most inanimate corpses are shaking with fear, I hear claustrophobia is common is the deceased... I'd quite like to know my date of death, means I could get everything I wanted done before I shuffled off. I personally couldn't give a shit what happens to my body after I die, I'd probably donate every organ I can and just burn the rest. Why do you always sound so arsey about anything a person says? ? If you suffer from a fear of being in an enclosed space, as I do, then as i said the thought of being buried in a coffin scares me....(I'm well aware i wouldnt know a thing about it) but why would I plan that ending which the very thought of makes me feel uncomfortable whilst im alive?
  20. In a word, revenge. Right, i must watch them.

Not me, I'm too neurotic, I'd spend all my time dreading it. If you're scared of being buried alive watch Kill Bill 2. Yes thats true i guess, imagine how you'd feel as the date was drawing very near I've never seen either of the kill bill films, what are they about? (apart from people being buried alive)

There is zero chance of being buried alive these days though isn't there? I'd certainly like to think so. But it happened years ago, all those scratch marks on the inside of the coffins that have been found
