Gina, i spend half my life at stock car racing tracks Im not sure if you mean the F1 or F2 stocks. But anyhow, you'll either love it or be very bored! , its full contact racing, if its F2's they are very fast, look out for Billy Batten, he's a local driver from down here, (167) i think he's currently world champion....he's great to watch coming through the field from the back. If its the F1's, plug your ears up cos man are they loud!!! If you're standing close to the fence you can feel the vibration right through your body as they go past...it actually hurts your ears. We race national hot rods, which are caled the elite of oval track racing, very fast and (supposedly) non contact. But nationals dont race at coventry as i think its a shail track. Have a good time!

Dont wish your days away Gemmill, life is so short as it is! 183228 I wish every work day away, and will continue to do so until my lottery numbers come up. The most sickening thing about it all is how fast the weekends fly by. Surely life isn't meant to be 5/7ths drudgery?! 183352 No it isnt So change it! Try and find a job you actually enjoy We have an extremely short life, and you're wasting yours by only living for the weekends. 183400 I've got to the stage now where I'm getting paid too much in accountancy and have too much debt to start off at the beginning in anything else. I did think about joining a recruitment consultancy that specifies in placing accountants - they tend to hire accounting professionals, so have to pay decent wages, but I didn't pursue it. Might have a look into it, but I'm worried it would be like a bit of a sales job. Will see how it goes here for a bit - could end up having more of a business role and less of an accounting role before too long anyway, which would be a change if nothing else. 183409 Gemmill...this all sounds incredibly dull You're tied to what you do at the moment because of money, it always boils down to money...these tribes that move around, find a new spot and build a house in a day have a lot going for them!! No debt, no mortgage, no bills... At least whilst you're at work you can come and play on Toontastic

Decapitated? on a motorbike? 181589 A guy we knew met the same fate....he hit a JCB Didnt stand a chance. Having been associated with bikes/bikers for many years, i've seen a good few people lose their lives. Hubby and i were bikers in our young days....i honestly think it was complete luck that we didnt have a fatal or serious accident. At least we always wore leathers, you see people on bikes wearing shorts and T shirts the idiots. Hubby had one serious accident during his bike days (before i knew him) whilst over-taking a bus he hit a car head on, he broke his leg badly and had complications after (blood clots on the lung etc) But he was lucky to be alive.

The Delbert Wilkins show? I don't know where he thought up the titles tbh. I think his best comedy was as that headmaster. But that wasnt sposed to be a comedy. You could tell that because it wasnt called 'headmaster'. 176919 Hope and Glory 176934 'wasn't' called headmaster. 176938 Err no....we know that. Why do you keep saying that manc mag?
