  1. Out of interest, say you ran a php forum which had only 20 odd smileys for posters to choose from...and you wanted to add say another 20 to the choice. How long roughly would that take? Is it a tricky job? Would it mean forum downtime?

    Tough Times

2006 has been a crap year so far what with one thing and another But saying that, ive watched a work colleague fight cancer and a friend was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer (who already has MS and against all odds finally had a baby 4 years ago) So when i think of what these people are going through, it does put problems in my life into perspective.
  3. It was very flooded in parts of Scotland last week, couldnt tell a Loch from a flooded field! Lovely weather here in Torquay today Infact, really warm
  4. Heard that for the first time yesterday, its shocking. Mind, no one should attempt it, what a brilliant song it is.
  5. Surely the celebs have to win this time ? Though the first match the legends were taken by surprise by how well they played and wont under estimate them again, maybe that was the celebs best chance to win. I think its Peter Reid managing the legends this time, i suppose because Sir bobby has been ill.
  6. Not alcohol i know, but just had a glass of ice-cold red grape juice, bloody nice.
  7. nah all quiet and boring here tonight, roll on the weekend I prefer sunday night Tv to saturday though. And im off work untill weds night Wish I was off till Weds, im back to it tomorrows, ah never mind. TV is ok now on a Sunday I like The Match but I was disappointed that Tin Head didnt make the team this year, Casually is ok when the oldies like Duffy are in it like tonights. ED: I recon I ramble more when ive not had a drink TL, who the hell is Tin head? I was shocked the sky news presenter guy didnt get in this time. And i rekon Timmy Mallot is Dorian Gray, he hasnt aged at all

  17. I wanted to go to Edinburgh but we didnt make that, so will do that next time. It's a crime to see Glasgow and not Edinburgh! i know but coming from the lake district it just happened we had to go that way to get to the Trossachs. Hubby doesnt like cities anyway, so i'll visit Edinburgh with a friend and explore the place properly. We only drove through Glasgow, what i saw was grim, but im sure there must be nice areas too.
  18. I like him aswell. Great T.V. personality and a great article. Ive always liked him. He's his own man that speaks his mind, nowt wrong with that.

  22. We stayed over night in the lake district, went to Kendal and Wwindermere then headed for Glasgow (urgh) then followed the Trossachs trail up to Oban and back to Loch Lomond, really stunning views It's lush up there isn't it ? Wor sis lives in Hamilton and has a fantastic view of the Trossachs. When I was a mere child of 16 i sailed around the western Isles for a fortnight, got invited to a wedding do in Oban when we tied the boat yp for the night and ended up getting hammered on some obscure Malts....not a good idea with a 5 hour sail the next day I was surprised how beautiful it was. Funny part was driving past what we assumed to be yet another Loch and noticing a caravan floating by ...thought blimey, how did he get there?!! then realising it was a flooded caravan site....about 20 odd campers and caravans bobbing about! As we got nearer my son took a few piccies, they were not impressed
