Are you old enough to bet? If so, put a tenner on the Toon to win a trophy next season and spend the rest on chocolate or buy snow patrols new CD

I honestly enjoyed the first 2 series of BB. Then it went downhill imo because of the type of contestants the producers choose to let in the house. All seem to have massive egos, be extremely vain and shallow with their only interest being in becoming 'famous' in order to start a career in music, presenting etc. I think the public see through this and thats why the viewing ratings have dropped. In truth the majority of them have little or no talent in anything except bitching and sitting on their arses putting make up on all day...(and thats just the guys)!! I will, as usual, watch the first show on friday to see who's in the house, but if its more of the same, i wont be watching any more of it.

Erm let me see How about.... A birthday BJ, which is far better than a normal day to day BJ (please disregard this suggestion if the 22 year old is your son! Beer. England shirt Choccies Designer shades Something gadgety. maybe for his PC/laptop/mobile? How about a digi TV reciever for the PC, theyre brilliant and not expensive. I think the one my son has on his pc was only about £35 from Amazon.

that may have the analogue to digital conversion ? did they change your dish as well 136973 no (i'd already had sky for years) and no I remember my digibox stopped working point blank, i dont mean occassional freezing and losing signal during bad weather...it stopped completely. I rang sky and asked what to do, they said i could get my own engineer which might be cheaper but risked having to pay for parts if they were required or i could pay the standard call out charge for a sky engineer (which i cant remember but was fairly steep) but if the fault wasnt mine i would get the parts free.....i took that option and the gamble paid off as i needed a new digibox, which they supplied that day. Didnt need my dish changing. Your problem sounds to me as if your dish needs realigning or that your signal where you are is just not terribly strong. Though i think losing signal in heavy downpours is fairly common, i get that too. Have you tried going to your options and seeing what your signal strength is? 137041 Considering I think it is the digibox or as KN says, the aerial cable, I think I may give them a call tomorrow. How do you mean "if its your fault", what the hell do they think your going to do with your digibox to cause it damage ..........????????????? If the dish has slighly moved, thats not your fault either ........ ??????? 137050 true but the thing was i was surprised to get the digibox free really, as i'd had the original one for a few years, i suppose it was because i still subscribed to sky. Dont think the remote control is covered by them though, but i recently bought a new one exactly the same at macros!! 137074 Sounds like you were lucky. Everytime I've had a fault on my box, the thieving bastids have tried to get money out of me! One time (in band camp) I had the "No signal" message and it was just after a pretty bad storm with strong winds and everything! I'd assumed that the wind had knocked the dish out of alignment so I phoned Sky and they said they'd need to send an engineer out to look and re-align the dish if necessary and that as my system was over a year old it would cost me £60 for the call out plus the cost of any new hardware if it's required! I initially said yes and booked an engineer then chopped the cable and re-crimped the end which fixed it so I phoned them back and told them to stick their engineer up their... Another time, my favourite channels stopped work "There's a technical fault, please try later". Tried several times over the course of a fortnight and eventually phoned Sky. "That sounds like you have a faulty digibox, we'll need to send an engineer at a cost of £60 to have a look and if the digibox is faulty then that'll be an additional cost". Err... bollocks to that I'll go without the fav channels function. Then, several months later, Sky rolled out a software upgrade and suddenly my favourite channels worked again! So I could of ended up paying to fix something that those fuckers ballsed up in the first place! So, in conclusion, I have two words for all Sky subscribers "Extended warranty". [/rant] 137131 you must be unlucky Mr Bass, i didnt have any hassle!

yeah thats the same deal as i had and like you say its well worth paying if you need any new parts. I suppose they make their money from lots of call outs requiring little or no work. And yes, keep us informed LM, i hate half a story!!

yep, always said she was the best of them -
As has been said already, we don't need quite as much persuading. Besides, it's all a bunch of camp Eastern European teenieboys and Armenian monobrows this year. Terribly disappointing. So I can just about do you an Albanian in a silly hat: And a Moldovan bloke who used to be in O-Zone: A swarthy Portuguese git who's decided he's Swiss: And a Russian who veers dangerously close to mullet territory in some shots: But that's about it, unless you're into beardy Slovenes, fat camp old Swedes, fat camp old Irishmen, fat camp old... well, you get the picture. 136887 so disapointing.....not a ginner in sight

It is good to be a woman: 1. We got off the Titanic first. 2. We can scare male bosses with the mysterious gynecological disorder excuses. 3 Taxis stop for us. 4. We don't look like a frog in a blender when dancing. 5. No fashion faux pas we make, could ever rival the Speedo. 6. We don't have to pass wind to amuse ourselves. 7. If we forget to shave, no one has to know. 8. We can congratulate our teammate without ever touching her rear end. 9. We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there. 10. We have the ability to dress ourselves. 11. We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked. 12. If we marry someone 20 years younger, we are aware that we will look like an idiot. 13. We will never regret piercing our ears. 14. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems. 15. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway.
