  1. Me too But I'd want to keep him dressed as a pirate at all times
  2. After many happy years of marriage I have one comment to make...... What's mine is mine and what's his is mine
  3. Ewww God what is the matter with people? That program is disgusting, especially if you're eating or just eaten your tea! Like someone else said, these morons won't go to their docs but don't mind showing their revolting body parts on the TV??!! And that male doctor is far too ugly to be on TV anyway, grosse.

  5. Sounds good, loving the first track you posted.
  6. Thank you I'd not drive to Exeter Serves for a ticket to see them...you're doing the right thing by giving it a miss imo
  7. Heartbreaking. I think I have seen that or something very similar.
  8. More or less I suppose... the setlist differs whether they are playing in America or over here. Like Joe says, people expect them to play certain hit songs, like Sugar, Hysteria, Animal, Rock of ages. He must get sick of it too! If you listen to his Planet Rock show on Saturdays at 6pm he plays some great music (not hit songs) and every other week he plays a Leppard song that isnt so well known. The Rock of Ages movie is out soon where Tom Cruise sings Pour some sugar....god, all the good songs the Leps have done over the years and they choose that one So because of that DL have released newly recorded versions of Sugar and Rock of Ages. I dont think Rock is dead, if anything it's experiencing a resurgence. Loads of old bands touring, DL recently toured with Motlery Crue. And there seems to be more rock festivals now than ever! And Lady Gaga is touring with The Darkness!! (though not sure if The Darkness is Rock lol) EDIT. Bonamental...this was filmed by a fan last night at a little warm up gig by DL. Its for a yuotube show that goes out tonight at 8pm. Considering its their first show for alittle while, I thought they sounded pretty good!!
  9. Wooo hooo I've seen Def Leppard, my all time fave band! Though I'm not a fan of that particular song. I prefer their early stuff or from later albums try tracks....Pearl of Euphoria, Desert song or Paper sun
  10. And whilst we are remembering, give a thought to those who lost their lives in 'Exercise Tiger' here in Devon at Slapton Sands. A rehearsal operation for D Day. Lives were lost through friendly fire and on the following day when there was an attack by nine German E boats. Much of the real facts of this disaster were lost due to the incidents having to be hushed up being so close to the real invasion. Survivors where sworn to secrecy. We occasionally walk along Slapton Sands, a Sherman Tank stands at Torcross at the Southern end of the sands to commemorate the event. ( that and the memorial plaque are only there, because of the efforts in the 70's and 80's by a Devon resident)
  11. Well if we can have a thread for the Eurovision we can have one for Soccer Aid. Actually these matches have been quite watchable in the past. 12. MF, you are bringing your daughter up properly I see! I bought my son up the same! Although Rock is my thing, I'm also a massive Take That fan, they are fantastic live, great singers/dancers/entertainers. But Mark Owen was pretty rocky in his solo career, I adore his voice, its much better live than on a record. So moving. Try this, Mark Owen-Wasting away
  13. Get with it JawD, I posted Master of Puppets days ago
  14. I think we may be stretching the parameters of what is officially Rock!

  18. aw JawD, I love that Queen track you posted. My favourites are Queen-Take my breath away (his voice here gives me goose bumps) Queen-Innuendo
  19. Get on! I love you JawD You cant beat The Leps. You cant argue the fact they have sold millions of albums in their time. Though I do prefer their early stuff except for one or two gems. They are not all about Pour some sugar crap! Go on, give these 3 a listen Def Leppard-Paper sun (without doubt one of their best songs ever) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-epIYeljoI&feature=related Def Leppard-Desert song Def Leppard-Pearl of Euphoria
  20. God, listening to The Sweet makes you realise how much they influenced Queen!
