  1. Australian going by her accent. Fair enough taking the piss out of that too. Does she live near Jimbo?
  2. BUMP I just assumed she lost interest what with being at uni and stuff (strange as she was at uni in Newcastle last I knew). I remember Gemmill (surprise surprise ) taking the piss out of her unicycling or whatever but I wouldn't call that bullying. I don't think we've ever had an actual case of bullying tbh. Bullying for me implies that someone is picked on with malicious intent through no fault of their own. Of all the people mentioned in this thread, it's either light hearted banter (eg The Fish), someone who clearly thinks too much of themselves being taken down a peg or two (eg Patrokles) or someone who clearly revels in the attention of the abuse they recieve and deliberately provoke insults (eg Medina). I think Medina is the closest we've come to bullying anyone but as I say, he clearly got a kick out off getting people to abuse him. ... but neither you, nor your little gang have ever succeeded in doing so, to be fair. You've generally just succeeded in coming across as miserable little bitchboys. You also make the mistake of not being able to take a joke/ recognise self-parody. Personally, too, I feel that because I post the froum equivalent of joined-up writing whilst some of you are scrawling on the backs of fag packets with crayons, there's this 'oh, he thinks he's BETTER THAN US' vibe going down. Interestingly, whenever I am serious, it's generally for just the reason you ascribe to me- ie, ewerk's correcting of someone else whilst at the same time making a very basic error, himself. The handbags are out now...
  3. Recorded that with Sky+, not got round to watching it yet though
  4. I really have no idea what people are talking about in regards to this? I just assumed that she had found a life away from the forum and thats why she wasn't around anymore..
  5. I wouldnt offer him a contract on his current wages but would consider it on lesser wages and as a squad player. With Gooch and Moore looking likely to go we will be left with Taylor so even bringing in another two centre halfs would still leave Ramage as 4th choice and I would much rather Bramble was playing than him.
  6. Which would prove one thing, that its coaches and a decent manager that we need more so than a continual turnover of playing staff..
  7. Anyone remember why? Because he was annoying as fuck? I vaguely remember him using the term "aborted" totally wrong. Lou was another victim of the bullying brigade. Fanta Fladder? How about Geordio or Linz
  8. I'm sure you started a thread about you shitting yourself sometime last year. He shit in the garage..
  9. Swindon Mag was another victim tbh
  10. To be fair whilst most would agree that he will never be good enough with the likes of Paul Robinson being the type of name linked with a move to the club it could be a case of be careful what you wish for with Roeder and his targets. Are we really going to be that much better of with the likes of Anton Ferdinand?
  11. You need a shave. And that jacket is shit. I've been told that several times. Adidas ? What? 2J is another alter ego of Blaydon?
  12. Dyer only looks positive going forward when he's either paying up top or coming off the bench when the opposition is tired, when he's played in midfield or on the wing this season he really does go missing from games far too often. Well, I'm not denying this. Apart from Butt, Milner and to a certain degree Martins most of our players haven't looked up for it though. Dyer's approach to the game has still been far more optimistic than of most other central midfield players. And therefore I would play him there. As I said above, it's more down to the awful alternatives. The pairings of Emre/Butt, Butt/Parker and especially Parker/Emre have just been totally abysmal and looked as productive as bunch of lazy Italians on strike. Emre and Butt have hardly been abysmal together, in fact when they have played together we've looked much better as a team than any other combination we've played in there this season. They had a spell of about 3 games that they looked like creating a decent partnership but for me after that they have not looked any better than any other partnership we have seen this season. Creativity wise with the exception of Milner, though most of his assists in the first half of the season came from his one cross out of 15 that wasn't played out of the park, has been utter shite going forward all season.
  13. Newcastle United goalkeeper Steve Harper has heaped praise on defender Titus Bramble after his performance in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea on Sunday. "That's the Titus Bramble that we all love to see," Harper told BBC Radio Newcastle. "His contract is up in three weeks so it would have been easy for him not to care or just to go through the motions. "Yet he has relished the challenge against a top player in Didier Drogba, and he was magnificent." Harper added: "People probably expected Chelsea to turn up and turn us over, but we've worked hard this week to counter the threat of their set pieces and long-range shooting and it worked. "Steven Taylor was given man of the match, but really there were seven or eight players who could have got it. All credit to them." The Magpies have now gone unbeaten at home in the league this season against the top four Premiership sides.
  14. No holidays booked yet but a few weekends sorted. Dublin for a stag do this weekend, T in the Park, wedding in Bristol , and of course the summer piss up... Saving for a mortgage so nothing planned yet, but might just go last minute somewhere later in the summer.
  15. Wedding Belles. Missed it when it was shown on Channel 4 but watched the DVD on Saturday night.
  16. As did Adidas... That Bennie bloke took a fair slagging too... And Cheyne At least none of the aforementioned posters get called a Werepig
  17. As did Adidas... That Bennie bloke took a fair slagging too...
  18. Don't be a victim.. http://www.baldwin.k12.ny.us/bullying.html
  19. The majority on here have taken a right slagging in some way over the years, its only banter IMO
  20. Antoine Sibierski has hit out at John Terry following Newcastle's draw with Chelsea on Sunday. Newcastle dealt a blow to Chelsea's title aspirations when holding The Blues to a 0-0 draw on Tyneside. The Magpies fought for every ball at St James' Park and Sibierski and Terry were involved in a number of tussles at both ends of the pitch. On one occasion Terry felt he had been impeded in the area by Sibierski and made his feelings known to referee Mark Halsey. Sibierski has admitted he was surprised to see Terry complain so strongly, but believes it was borne out of frustration. "I was surprised John Terry was complaining because he is English," Sibierski told the Evening Chronicle. "I didn't touch him, or if I did it was no more than he touched me. We have to compete for every ball. "But they felt the game was going against them because we were playing very well. "We frustrated them. They were very disappointed, as they needed three points to have a chance of winning the title. "They were worried at the end, and it was a good feeling for us."
  21. Nicolas Plestan is unwilling to entertain talk about a potential summer move until the end of the season, with Premiership sides reportedly in the hunt for the Lille defender. Plestan has been in impressive form for the French side this season and particularly caught the eye during the club's UEFA Champions League campaign. The 25-year-old has reportedly attracted interest from both Portsmouth and Newcastle United, whilst Fiorentina, Bordeaux and Auxerre have also been mooted as potential destinations. However, having signed a new deal in September that ties him to the club until 2010, Plestan is not ready to fuel the fire of speculation with Lille still battling for a European finish in Ligue 1. "French clubs are interested in me, I have been told about Bordeaux and Auxerre's interest, but I am not in contact with them," Plestan told But. "Anyway, I told my agents not to inform me, just to tell me if there is a concrete approach. "Certain clubs follow me and are interested in my performances, that means that I am going a good way. "I want to lead Lille to the Champions league because the club bring so much to me. "When the season is over, we will talk about my future."
  22. Nicky Butt says he feels he has finally won over his critics at Newcastle and is keen to extend his stay on Tyneside. The midfielder struggled in his first season on Tyneside and his Newcastle career looked over when he was farmed out on loan to Birmingham in the summer of 2005. He returned to Newcastle last summer and manager Glenn Roeder opted to hand Butt a chance to shine. The former England international responded by throwing in a string of fine displays and he was handed the captain's armband against Chelsea on Sunday. Butt says it was a tremendous honour to lead out The Magpies and is looking to prove he is worthy of an extended stay at the club. "This was always going to be a difficult year for me coming back to Newcastle," Butt told the Evening Chronicle. "But I am the type of person who likes to prove people wrong and I feel that I have done that. "When you go out on loan you never think you are going to come back. "Anyone who says that they aren't are lying. I thought it was the end - who wouldn't? "I didn't think I'd be coming back to the club nor be involved too much, if at all. "But I had a word with Glenn when Newcastle played Birmingham at the end of last season and he said 'I look forward to you coming back'. "After that it was a case of getting my head down and working for my chance. "My main priority this year was to come back and prove I was a good player, and I wanted to come back and play for a club as big as Newcastle." Butt has another year to run on his contract and he added: "I want to see out the remaining year of my career at Newcastle and, hopefully, spend more time here after that."
  23. Wigan were the same in their first season with the likes of Teale, McCulloch, Kavanagh, McMillan etc. This season its looking like the so called bigger names are not working out and it looks very likely that they could go down.
