Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, what a fuckin clueless tool LM is A fair question tbf. I couldn't imagine you making this comment now. KK unearthed some gems in his time without breaking the bank. My assumption is that the failings of MA has turned you so far against him/them that it almost have given you a tunnel vision so to speak. another misquote and misconception that Fish should chase people up in his quest to tackle everybody who does this sort of thing. You won't find a post from me anywhere which says I think the club should ever have chucked unlimited funds at any manager for any player or players. You would find such quotes from Gemmill though Meanwhile, we still wait for Baggio to admit that he championed the DOF system, and Wise as the figurhead of the system, rather than support Keegan as the manager. Using Spurs as the role model, before Redknapp ditched it of course. -
There you go again cribbing one line from a post and asking a question that has, as it's foundation, an assertion that I don't think holds water. As I've said to you before, either grow up and behave like an adult, or shut up. as I've said to you too Dave, don't condone one person for "stating things others haven't said" when you and others do exactly the same. In other words, grow up, stop being a hypocrite, and start to read posts properly and listen. You could also tell mancmag and Gemmill to answer my questions, and put their money where their mouths are, but you won't and they won't either.

Who/What is suggesting to you that we will??? Other than the doom mongering titheads of course?? are you thompers ? -
We've bought French league winners, leading goalscorers, supreme attacking talent and exciting Italian prospects with our policy. WHAT could you possibly want to see? Millions spunked up the wall Liverpool style? Cabaye, Tiote, Santon, Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa. Howay then, what one isn't quality? Santon will be in a season or two, it's plain to see. Genuinely, if those players had cost £100m Leazes et al, would be placated. there you go again, making things up about others, which you condemn. You really are a tool aren't you ? Just to summarise though, do you confirm that you are happy with this season and are also happy that money has been pocketed and/or withheld from the manager, rather than attempt to do even better ?

If European qualificiation is your criteria for a decent season then 2 of the 3 seaons before Ashley took over can be defined as shite as well. this is what makes me laugh. Dismissing over a decade as if it didn't count. Mike Ashley will not take this club into europe as often as the old regime if he owns the club for 50 years, never mind 15. -

5 years is a long time. Has it really taken that long for Mike Ashley to give us our first good season ? Do you think he will do what needs to be done to build on it and try to go higher ? This is what I have always said, along with the club being run for the benefit of Sports Direct, which will always come first. Players will be sold if the club doesn't make an operating profit. It was, and still is, hardly rocket science, yet people have rubbished that for all this time. I've said this before, and I'm not saying it any more. If we keep ALL our best players, and put 2 [or even 3] new players straight into that team this summer, in keeping with an ambitious club with the 14th biggest revenues in football along with 25m quid from sales burning a hole in the transfer kitty, I will be completely sold on the change of direction that they showed in January, doing what they should always be doing, and look forward to next season with massive hopes and expectations, and admit that I have been wrong. Do YOU or anybody else see this happening ? Qualifying for europe should be the start, but all this talk of "progress" makes me smile in the same way as people posted years ago that all they needed was a "plan". The fact is, the "plan" has been and always will be to exist in the premiership and promote Sports Direct, making a profit and selling a player if a profit isn't made. The team has done better than they and everybody thought this season, but all it will do is encourage them to think they can carry on as they are, this is the extent of the "plan", and it is now in place. They will not attempt to push on, or do the right things that need to be done to enable them to push further forward. Sad, but true. Someone like me wants to see the club succeed and win a trophy or two before I get older. I hope I am wrong, but I'm afraid this is what I see happening, and what I've seen in place for some time now. I am going to see NUFC play abroad next season, because for different reasons which I am not going to post on here, I didn't do it the last time, myself and my mate are both going to do this while we can, both in terms of getting older and also because neither of us see the club consolidating or improving on what has happened this season. -

he's killing the board man. are you not sick of his patter? i've got him on ignore and it's still doing my head in. the place improved tenfold when he fucked off for a couple of weeks. one good thing about our recent form is he's posting far less than he used to. what a pathetic man you are. You're like a school snitch. Totally hilarious is that you are actually saying exactly the same views as I have always done regarding the direction and ambitions of the club, yet post what you do when calling for me to be banned. All you do is moan on. You moaned when we had ambitious directors, and now you moan because you want ambitious directors who keep our best players. Get a life. -
Carroll`s career so far in Liverpool

you're entitled to your opinion. I will remind you that this is the first decent season in 5 years. An entire century of football and successful clubs showing how it is achieved and sustained says you and the other clowns are wrong. Meanwhile, I hope you are going to castigate people for making up and posting untrue comments about others. -

thanks for the intelligent reply. Clown -
to be fair, he was a bit of a flapper last season but has improved a lot this. He deserves the plaudits and like everybody else I hope he stays here. In the premiership, commanding your box and taking charge of your defenders is a huge part of a keepers game, I agree that he should have just flattened Williamson. Commanding the box like that was always the big weakness of Shay Given.

the jokes on you Scotty boy....one day you will wake up and realise what has been nothing but utter delusion. Please tell me, what is the next step of this "progress" or "plan", and how will it be done ? The truth is while getting back into europe is good, it should only be the start. Next step should surely be to sustain it and not let it be a "one off"? If we get into Europe we need a stronger squad to make another push for it next season. That would be my aim. Repeat this year while also having a bash at the EL. and how do you do that ? Do you think they will realise this and do it ? -

first good season in 5 years is "short term" ? Especially when it won't last........ In relative terms, I thought the last season was canny as well. Point, I've enjoyed the last two (well, three tbf) seasons. Thing is LM, while you may not feel it, you do come across like you want us to fail just to prove a point. Out of interest, what do you think will happen next season? For me, I think we will sell a first team player for >£15M that will piss a few people off. I think we'll see a few misc players leave the club (Lovenkrands, Smith etc). I think we'll sign 3-4 players for under £10M (maybe one at £7M and a few sub £5M). I think the squad will be stronger for it. I reckon we'll be top 7 again but it will be tougher as I think Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea will improve as well. Also think Sunderland will do better under a full season of MON. and these tags are fucking me off This is my point. How will it be "tougher" ? Its the same for everybody. Why don't we do what Spurs and Liverpool do and make it "tougher" for them ? See my post to Gemmill, although as usual it won't get anything like a constructive reply from either him or other forum dummies. -

As the league stands... If Chelsea do the double... Man u, man city, arsenal, Chelsea - CL Spurs, Liverpool, Newcastle (5th) - EL If Chelsea only win the fa cup... Man u, man city, arsenal, Spurs- CL Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle (5th) - EL If Chelsea win nowt Man u, man city, arsenal, Spurs - CL Liverpool, Newcastle-(5th), Chelsea (6th) EL It only screws us if we finish 4th and lose out on champions league on double checking. Nice one, cheers. Think I get it now. does your head hurt

Speak for yourself He hasn't lost credibility with me, he just takes a longer term view of things thats all. Whether you agree with him or not he certainly generates plenty of debates and discussions, and a lot of it is interesting discussion. I think the forum would be a lot duller, predictable and tedious without him Yeah, NOW he takes a long term view of things. Now that his short term review has proven to be nonsense. first good season in 5 years is "short term" ? Especially when it won't last........ -

Carroll`s career so far in Liverpool
LeazesMag replied to Lake Bells tits's topic in Newcastle Forum
Based on what I've seen of them this season this is by far the worst Liverpool team I have seen in my lifetime. Wouldn't you agree ?? More absolutely woeful and desperate crack from Leazes. Carroll and Enrique left for a club that win things at the end of the day and fair enough on that score. It's just something that Liverpool do and we don't. So if they'd both have stayed here for instance, (which would have been a sign of NUFC being 'progressive' in Leazes book), they'd have won nowt. At which point he could have had a good laugh at them like now presumably. Liverpool will do it despite the countless millions they've pissed up the wall in the league and they'll do it because they have the pedigree and because the media demand it of them. They're in an exclusive band of clubs that win things every few seasons for those reasons. They pay the top wages but they demand most from their servants. We only ever paid the top wages. They did it during the time when we were 'being progressive' as the biggest spenders around, buying the biggest names and they werent. They won cups then and we still won nowt. Their players back then must now be really regretting playing for Liverpool and picking up cups instead of playing for the Toon and winning nowt. Or maybe not. Obviously the latter. We've had a belting season and we've progressed. Carroll has been replaced by two much better strikers. That doesn't make him bad but it means we've moved on and are a better team for it now. That's all we can ask for now. Steadily build and see where it gets us. Start from the beginnings in those areas of the club that had become truly appalling and drive up our standards of acceptability without obsessing over anyone else. No delusion, just graft. Liverpool would swap Carroll for Ba and Cisse in a heartbeat. Leazes in full on bitter meltdown of late and brilliant to see. I thought he couldn't get any worse than that time he was on the telly demanding someone "like that Arab man at Manchester City" but he's surpassed himself this month. Absolute mint. thought you had me blocked ? what about answering the summary of what you have said is "rubbish" for years I directed at you a few weeks ago ? And taking my bet ? Put up or shut up, you're only making yourself look the bag of wind tosspot that you are man. -

when we finish runners up in the premiership I may review it. Jesus wept. Go back to the pub man. what part of "I haven't been to the pub today" do you not understand ? What is wrong with going to the pub anyway ? What a big tart

How Newcastle Became Talk Of The Toon
LeazesMag replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
with 25m quid burning a hole in the managers transfer kitty, which is not being given to him ? I don't think so. You should answer all those questions, if you really want to substantiate that absurd claim you are making. Basically, they have moved the goalposts, gone backwards and set up lower forward expectation levels. In a nutshell, that is spot on and time will prove it. They have gone 3 steps backwards, gone 1 or 2 step forwards again but it all stops here. Enjoy it while you can, because they will not build on this by keeping their best players and backing the manager. Which is fine if you want to watch a financially stable club sitting in the premiership without reaching out to stay among the top places, but people who actually go to games and support the club by putting their cash into it tend to have a different priority. I agree they went back 2 steps but surely they have went forward 5? We wernt in Europe when they took over you know? Oh and your line about "people who go to games " etc isn't correct 2 steps back and 5 steps forward ? Does that mean we have finished in the top 5 for 3 or 4 seasons in a row ? -

it's quite sad that you don't see the basic difference between backing your manager and not backing your manager. Whatever. -
why exactly have you disagreed with me when I have always said what you are saying here ? Fuck me sideways. Are you Gloomy in disguise ?
