I agree and admitted earlier in the thread that I underestimated the national anthem/nuclear button/IRA sympathiser bullshit. I just thought people wouldn't let that get in the way of improving their lives. Sadly they do.

I've seen similar ones with a reverse order of the top 2.

No, polling shows that in the leave areas it was very much a confirmatory brexit vote. Corbyn was also a large factor but the leavers fundamentally wanted to leave and didn't give a shit about much else.
-
Also on Nandy, she did well against Neill but her remarks on Scotland and Catalonia were just wrong.
-
If the clear arguments didn't change leave minds in the 3 years after the vote, why would they have changed them before? We have to just face up to the fact that millions wanted it and didn't give a fuck about the how, who, why and whats in the debate.

Speaking of which I was reading the twitter thread where Long-Bailey announced her website and there were loads who weren't even going to vote for her as she accepted that BOD document - now that's a spectacular level of purity.

Dummet injuring his other leg screams a typical Souness/Pardew brought back before the original injury fully healed job.

Six points above third bottom and getting worse.

They should have just used some old footage they had that didn't look bad. (For Epstein)

Hannity broadcast on Fox that b-52s were on the way along with a load of other shit just before it happened supposedly - would have made any nervous trigger fingers itchy if true.

Ironically topical but there are sites which have been campaigning for years for DNA tests for Andrew as its alleged Liz was "seeking solace" for Phil bring a hound by shagging someone in the Royal Court.

I agree but Lewis is talking a lot of sense as well.

Haven't seen the vid but have read that evidence was ignored. Also allegations that the retraction was in Greek sound bad for the Coppers though I'd question the foreign office response. I've always had the impression that non-rich people don't get any diplomatic help anyway so no real surprise there...

It's a typical macho Mediterranean culture in Cyprus so I'm not surprised that the police weren't rape victim friendly. There's also a lot of construction investment at the moment from Egypt, Lebanon and Israel - my cynical side suggests I'd have a look to see if the lads were connected to that money. Even if they weren't I'd bet there was political pressure brought to bear.

He'd once been on a team leader course where they suggested more engagement with the team so he asked me how my weekend had been - it happened to be when we lost 3-0 to the mackems (Di Canio one I think) so I replied it had been a soul destroying nightmare - he didn't ask again

He was travelling to meet a seven year old he'd groomed on line but it was actually a police sting. Also had images etc. Seemed okay to me - he was actually sacked for upsetting some managers and other staff but was always okay with me.

Just found out an old boss of mine has been jailed for 3 years for being a paedo - fucking hell.

Are marks deducted for misplaced passes and controls, bottle-outs, can't be bothereds and open goals missed? Easy to "YouTube" any player and just show the positives.

Think he was a CB at arsenal like.

I might be having a thick day but I honestly don't see any material difference in the two statements.

Seems genuine but I'm not sure she has the presence needed by a leader imo.

Much like the public schooled, ex-commodities trader and man of the people Farage.

I think Johnson knows they'll vote for a reasonable Labour leader which is why he's keen to pay lip service to them. I think Corbyn/Brexit were interchangeable reasons for not voting in a lot of cases.
-
Thing is I've looked at seats Labour needed to win which they didn't due to losing votes to the LDs and the greens showing they weren't remain enough to some voters Even in Blyth the LD and Green total was more than the margin of victory. This was the problem with trying to sell what I think was a reasonable option to both sides where too many didn't want to be reasonable. I don't think an individual's pov will be an issue next time around compared with their overall public impression.
