Gloom, do you think if Corbyn goes and there is a transparent disciplinary system in place that this could be put behind Labour or are they fucked for a while on this?

I've overheard two Jewish people at work using the phrase "I'm scared of what he might do". I know their history gives them the right to be cautious but fucking hell.

As I've said before, Cooper seems what you say but her entire leadership pitch in 2015 seemed to be built on reviving Surestart. It would be interesting to see how she'd do now knowing there's an appetite for more among the membership.

I think the influence of printed media is waning though - I don't see that many undecideds choosing to buy the mail or telegraph.

Might be harsh but I'd make useful subjects free and leave fees for indulgent ones.

She voted for the most cuntish policies more times than Johnson. She started off this campaign saying she had no regrets but I think the stick she's taken has taken its toll and I see she's now saying sorry.

Thing that gets me is "in talks" over an interview - you turn up at a certain time and answer fucking questions - anything else is complete nonsense.

I think it's more of a "you can't ignore us" boost - obviously Corbyn's stubbornness has played a part on somethings but I still don't think that if someone like Cooper was elected they'd be able to drop the more "extreme" policies easily.

Of course - I know they're cunts but it was just as unfair that ukip didn't gain any MPs given their share last time.

I'd add that the mass membership/momentum enclaves should realise that one improvement that has been made is that they have more of a say in policy now so they shouldn't fear a more moderate leader as much as they probably do. I know Blair had an iron grip on these matters but I don't see how a new leader could return to that paradigm easily.

Would be shit to gain a few by tactical voting but lose places like Sunderland though. I agree with Ewerk - along with Corbyn's failures, the tendency for people to treat GEs as presidential type contests is a failing as well - possibly could be offset by electoral reform but I'm not sure. Maybe Labour could try making it more of a team game - there are some decent people in the shadow cabinet who compare favourably with the set of cunts opposite.

Can also hope that the newly registered/younger voters were under-polled.

I think there's a lot of reluctance to accept recommendations - as I said when I initially looked at it, reccomending lib dems when they got 4% in 2017 seems wrong. Others like Canterbury or Kensington where Labour just won and they reccomend not voting for them also seems pig-headed. Since I've lived in Chelmsford it's been a safe tory seat and the other two have been split with the lib dems varying degrees of clear in second. Last time out Labour came a clear second but all the tactical sites reccomend the LDs which is probably correct. Only problem is the tories always get more than 50% so either way its probably a waste of time.

I think it's the obvious willingness to give them everything they want that's telling for me - looks more like a terms of surrender document than a give and take negotiation.

Just like the chief rabbi made his statement to preempt the faith and race manifesto.
