Does your car fill with petrol

Didn't get the main bit I wanted, which is annoying because getting a new one here will cost more than I want to pay BUT I didn't leave empty handed.

Also this was a very cool experience, part of the reason for finally biting the bullet and doing a car is to get me away from screens and out of my office a bit, I work in IT and mostly at home and most of my stuff I do outside of work time lives in the same space so getting to go out on a nice spring day to an absolutely ENORMOUS car graveyard and wander about looking for cars I can take bits off was brilliant.

Live n learn

Been installing a new screen/head unit in the BMW today, getting it more up to date with car play and whatnot since the old idrive was VERY old and the navigation was 20 years out of date.

Bit of a ballache of a job not helped by the instructions being... let say poorly translated.

In my testing and troubleshooting I managed to run the BMWs battery flat just as I was about done, fortunately I'm a two car man these days so I was able to get it jumped and running again and get the job finished. Took it for a spin once I as done and everything is working beautifully

Got a few more things coming for a few more jobs on the BMW in the next couple of weeks, its getting a new windscreen on Friday, but todays was definitely the biggest piece of work at home that I have planned for now. Glad to get it done before a week where I have to drive to the office a bunch.

The lengths you'll go to remind us you live in a place where twin garages / driveways are common place.

tbf it's the people living in the shed from Dobbies over the road that I feel sorry for, looking over at him with his two cars.
