Spurs seem to be moving fast in this window, I hope we start doing something soon.

Well, leaving aside the gossip stories that they are about to sign a different player every day, they have in fact only signed one player - with whom Newcastle were discussing terms as well. Are they really moving so much faster?

Having said this they probably will now make a multi-signing announcement at a press conference at 3pm...

True but theirs seem a bit more solid like the Dos santos one, probably nothing in most of them like.

They weren't even linked with Modric before the signed him iirc. Just paper speculation really. About 1 in 20 of the stories have a grain of truth, if that.

i'd say that derydiyok geezer is worth a gamble. Isn't he the one that said he wants to play with Owen? Big lad, scored a good goal vs England, can't be expensive, young and swiss.

He's a great talent and has done very well this season, and he'd be really cheap because of his contract situation. He wouldn't be ready for the first team though, he'd be no more than a bit-part player for at least one season.

Well it's not as if we have a squad the size of Man U

I know, and I think he'd be a very good signing, I've seen quite a lot of him. It's just that he's not even a regular first-teamer at Basel yet, people shouldn't expect too much.

Apparently two Turkish clubs have had their £2m bids rejected.
