Not forgetting the stupid amount of money they've had to 'throw away' to get Ljundberg of their books....

Whoever from Upton Park brokered that deal should be shot!

Still think 'Shpursh' have wasted more money this summer (and the last 12 months for that matter). How long before Ramos goes the same way as Jol?? They're turning into what we were like ;)

A lot of clubs seem to be spending silly money and Tottenham are one of them.

Tottenham haven't spent much when it comes to net spending but they have sold players they maybe should have kept like Keane and Defoe. Albeit it they got insane money for Keane it looks like Berbatov is on his way and Tottenham will have to try and get a striker or two in a sellers market when other clubs will know that they have money.

Man City have thrown some money about, Chelsea have spent the average £30m, Sunderland haven't dne badly but it looks like they are going to get ripped off for Ferdinand.

Even though we need a few new faces I would say for the money we have spent - Guthrie being the main bargain - we have done very well for ourselves.

I don't know how much of it is true mind but seriously how poisonous would the media be if Ashley was doing this to us. Louise Taylor would be frothing at the gash, the horrible mackem munter

The money for very so-so signings (many ex-Newcastle, of course) they were throwing around was amazing, I'm surprised they didn't get more/any shit for it long before this really.

Tottenham are the club I see in crisis at the moment. Nee decent strikers on the books once Berbatov goes. Bent is crap.

They will get hammered on Sundat but the national media still won't have a go at them!
