EDIT: Perhaps Ashley is, after all, a grade 'A' cunt and is just toying with the NUFC fans by making them believe this shit about Middle East investors, raising their (the supporters) hopes and then partying instead of the supposed deal making?? Not just the NUFC supporters, but winding up the press as well?? Yes. I think the photo in the OP of him in a bar, complete with the radio broadcast and various other articles proves he ducked out of a meeting to get sloshed. That is unless you're going to go all Parky on us and say it's a global conspiracy theory created and ran by the Jews I look at Ashley now and just think midlife crisis. He bought the club on a whim, he seems to spend half his time in casinos and bars pissing his fortune up the wall, he's surrounded himself with a bunch of mates who'll quite happily humour him while running the club and his buying drinks for the fans smacked of someone wanting to be loved. I think he'll sell the club because I doubt he'll get any enjoyment not being able to sit in the stands and act the fan. How quickly he gets rid of it depends entirely on his valuation. I can't speak for Leazes but I can make a judgement on how right or wrong he got this. So he said he had concerns which were then laid to rest only for them to surface massively later.
