I was only 4 when it started like, so maybe I only caught the later end of it when Boy George and Rick James would join in their missions.

Red Dwarf, Nirvana etc.

 

They never represent the 80's.

 

Both at their peak in the 90's.

 

You could include the Simpsons and Seinfeld if you just look at when they were conceived.

Like all decades there is bad and good. No decade is any better than any other really perceptions just change.

 

But the 80's

 

2 Seasons of missing 3 matches all season home and away.

First sexual encounters :snakehips:

The smiths the cure the cult the housemartins et al.

Blackadder

Saturday morning cartoons

Holiday TV.

 

 

The miners strike

Thatcher

the IRA.

The Badder meinhof gang

Red Dwarf, Nirvana etc.

 

They never represent the 80's.

 

Both at their peak in the 90's.

 

You could include the Simpsons and Seinfeld if you just look at when they were conceived.

 

Both were started and going well in the mid/late-80's. :snakehips:

 

Just because they weren't as fashionable as they were later doesn't matter. You might as well say that combats weren't invented until after 2000.
