It says I'm healthy.

I know that I should lose between 7 and 14 lbs of fat and replace it with lean muscle to be at a real healthy level.

BMI is a pile of wank and should not be used to measure 'healthiness' - Johnny Wilkinson would be classed as obese, as would have Shearer in his prime going of BMI.

Disappointed with the NHS for promoting it.

It says I'm a fat bastard. 28.6, based on 10 years ago, I would've 21.2. Apparently I need to lose 2st exactly to get to 25.0. It's a load of bollocks this though to be honest. I'd look like Rodney Trotter if I was 12st again and that is 21.5 on the BMI, which allegedly is absolutely ideal. Wouldn't want to be less than 14st.

Generally the BMI is a good guideline. It isn't foolproof. Obvioulsy Shearer and Wilkinson aren't obese. It isn't designed to evaluate the fitness of musclebound athletes. It was designed to give 'normal' people an idea of how over/underweight they are, not give Mens Health reading fannies an aneurysm because they forgot to have a protein shake before they had a wank.
