Has Viduka been snapped up yet?

No and Lucas Neill is still a free agent.

Actually so is Maniche and Cacapa hasn't found a club yet

Complete lists for Ashley to work from.

Birmingham City: Peter Lovenkrands set to rejoin Newcastle, not Birmingham City

Peter Lovenkrands was today set to rejoin Newcastle United after they offered him a contract to head off Blues interest.

The Danish winger trained with Blues at Wast Hills yesterday with a view to a deal, similar to the Stephen Carr scenario last season.

However, Alex McLeish couldn’t provide any guarantees to his former Rangers attacker, who became a free agent after his release by Newcastle following their Premier League relegation.

But Lovenkrands has now been given the security he craved by Newcastle and McLeish wasn’t in a position to match their offer.

Lovenkrands wasn’t prepared to wait another five weeks or so for Carson Yeung and his group to take charge, when McLeish would have had the resources - and been able to judge form and fitness - to act decisively.

He said: “Peter was a player we got to look at but because of our financial situation I couldn’t offer him a contract, we’re spent in terms of the budget.

“But it was my intention to let him train with us for a few weeks. I think he’s a bit short of fitness. Then we would have seen what had happened.

“Once the takeover had gone through successfully - or even if it hadn’t - Peter might have showed up so well that I could have persuaded the club to have taken him on. But he had an offer from Newcastle on the table.

I can't see us signing anyone :icon_lol:

Nope,

tbh i'd settle for the crazy rumours we used to have at this rate, remember when we were linked with Aimar and Modric?

 oh yes

Don't forget Baines.

From CC, via text on 81111: "It's like Notts County have activated the cheat code on Football Manager, giving them loads of cash for Prem players. When I say cash, I of course mean the challenge of taking part in such an exciting project."

Apparently Turner cost the mackems £12m. (or up to)

I doubt that very much. Papers just going with the number they made up when he was linked with Liverpool. I would like to think 6 million at the most and even then...
