What are you drinking?

You took the piss out of me in this very thread for saying I liked a Dirty Martini iirc ;)

But aye, Renton, he's right. There's loads of cocktails out there to suit every taste. The sickly, sweet variety, (the sort of things women / CT tend to like) are a relatively new invention. The classic ones like Old Fashioned, Martini, Sidecar etc. tend to be dry or sour and very alcoholic. And lets be honest here, everyone knows I have impeccable taste.

I think they're rank like but they're anything but sickly sweet.

Classic sipping spirits cocktails like the old fashioned are the best.

Why not?

A hearty breakfast and off for rounds 2 & 3 at Mother in Law's and Ma Fist's.

Might have a Guinness before I go to line the crucible.

In Laws got me a MacAllan 10 year old malt for xmas. Now my favourite whisky.

That's a lovely whisky, I've got a half bottle left.

Nice that stuff. The bloke who does the illustrations of the bottles is the same bloke that illustrated Hunter S Thompson's books.

I'm drinking a pretty dubious red wine, but it was a Christmas present so it would be rude not to.

Essentially, I apply that rationale to any and every bottle of plonk I'm gifted.

Me too. It's a struggle but I've not been poisoned yet so I persevere... :D
