Aye, I’ve seen the follow up one where the skinhead (who I think was only about 15 in the original one but looked fucking nails) is in the kitchen with his mam. And she was basically oblivious to his behaviour until she’d seen him on the telly

Craig 12319
There was definitely one at the entrance to Eldon Square next to M&S. Corner door of M&S was our family's meeting place when we'd be off doing our own things. Can remember being stood there many a time and hearing "Ronny Gill!" being hollered. You're right in that the one at Fenwicks is the one everyone talked about.

Howmanheyman 43810
Picture the scene, it's 15.47 on a cold Saturday afternoon with drizzle in the air, you're standing on uncovered concrete terracing freezing your balls off, pissed off because NUFC are getting beat, playing shite and it's starting to go dark because it's winter. Then Barry in the box or who it was thinks he'll cheer up the crowd with a song everyone will like, 'one for the whole family' even though it's 99% blokes and young lads.... Zero chance of being in that building, think it was known as 'Sinclairs' after another prominent old Newcastle business who sold tobacco used to own it and moved around premises themselves, S&N obviously took over it but it was more corporate/admin if it was being used at all in the upper floors? You could walk through the bottom as a short cut and nobody said anything if you had company gear on but the reason it's zero is the old gallowgate was knocked down by the time I was working in bath lane and corporation Street but even half of those streets have been altered never mind the buildings on a big site. It was pretty big, a few different buildings and you could travel underground from one site to another through tunnels filled with pipe work as a short cut to the canteen whilst keeping an eye out for somebody jumping out to give you a fright!
