How dare you! DIY tools, fishing rod and metal detector are all still here.

As it happens, there’s a whole world of bike accessories to keep me entertained for at least a few weeks longer

Sorry. Forgot you don't sell your hobby equipment. It just gets shoved in the shed.

You can age your hobbies like tree rings. 🙂

Not a fan of cycling but fuck cancer. I’ve had it twice, my dad died of it, my mam had it too.

Speaking from personal experience, the worst thing about it is it makes you confront your mortality. I was 30 when I had my first diagnosis, and I had to seriously think about dying. It changes you and your outlook on things and your relationships with other people. It’s a proper headfuck.

Fucking hell @Renton any chance you could fix it soon? Lazy bastard

I know it's probably wrong, but I love watching Pogacar. Much prefer him to Vingegaard

He's just so much fun.

Based on nothing I reckon they are all on the same sort of preparation these days, I'm not as obsessed by it as I was in the Armstrong days

I'm quite enjoying the Pog, Vingegaard, Remco, Roglic era

The Giro this year was great because it was competitive.

I couldn't care less if Pog is juiced but he's becoming boring AF. The way he accelerates there, seated whilst Vini is fucking sprinting just screams motor.

The Giro was epic this year. Felt for Del Toro because he really deserved it and seemed his team never fancied him and then fucked up tactically big style.

But it was so exciting when Yates went away on the penultimate stage

You're right of course. Much more interesting when you don't know whose strongest. Del Toro cracking then coming back the next day. Carapaz looking like the strongest then Yates sneaking it

Great stuff
