Figo?

Aye we played Sporting in a tournament at home. There was us Sporting, Boro and someone else who escapes my mind. That was the final on the Sunday, we were 3-0 up at ht, but lost 3-5 and Figo was magic.

Canny bit of trivia that.

Any ideas of the highest goalscorer ever in world football? I genuinely don't know. I've heard Pele and Romario but apparantly Romario classed a lot of friendlies etc. Any actual stats about?

Here's one though. Leading scorer in champions league history?

That's Raul isn't it?

In world history? don't talk shite :jesuswept:

CL History it's Raul though. :D

Pele counted kids games, friendlies, testimonials, exhibition games, all sorts in his total.

I can only think of FC Brugge but it can't be them :jesuswept:

Think of a footballer we're supposed to hate, but we just can't.

Is Maradona the one we're meant to hate. Napoli? Boca? Argentinos Juniors?

Played for Barca as well like, which would be more likely than Napoli, I'd have thought.

Fucking hell. I only said Napoli because that's where he got into coke. I knew they were well supported, but still. Give me 5 mins to think of a decent one.

Other than English players, who was the only English top flight player to score a goal in the World Cup Final.

Petit?

What about Marco Matterazzi aswell. I'm sure he scored in the final in 2006 against France and he played at Everton, aye?

No, not Sir Les.

Brian Deane scored the first ever goal irc, but cant remember who got the first hattrick. I remember Norwich won 4-2 at Arsenal and Mark Robins got 2 or 3 opening day?
