I find it quite amusing that Britain is famous for shit food; in actual fact we have some of the best in the world, because we have to import it. I couldn't find anything in Berlin (other than sausages), although the supermarkets were full of vile things. 70438[/snapback] There is nothing like certain traditional food. It varies very much. This cabbage thing is nonsense as the brand "national dish" is more a historical than an actual one. "Sauerkraut" was poor man's food as it could be easily stored in the pre-fridge times and consist a lot of vitamin C (that's why it was also used at sea). I think most Jorman's eat it less than once a year. It is probably mostly eaten by stupid tourists... Nothing can beat the mediteran kitchen IMHO, but I don't think there is much difference in the vileness of "traditional" Jorman and English food.
