Get in, all the flappers can fuck right off.

Just a few points:

  1. It's a pre-season game
  2. It's Motherwell
  3. Spurs are level with Swindon, should they start expecting a torrid 2014?

Good to here we put in a good performance and are fit.

In preseasons gone by I've always thought we never looked fit or 'at it' so its a good start.

I'd imagine everyone wants to prove themselves and do much better than last year.

Nice to see Dummett and Vuckic doing well as well as Streete getting on the pitch.

Me neither

The more and more we try to replicate last years summer window the more I'm reminded of their negligence - just this year we've got Kinnear hindering our deals as well as Ashley's misplaced prudence.

Given the blame was dished out as follows.

Pardews crap

Ashley didnt spend enough

Perfect storm of injuries

Europe.

Surely there's reason to expect a better performance?

No Europe to get in the way of training.

Unlikely to repeat a perfect storm of injuries (particularly as we now have a fitness guru)

Surely Pardew has learnt from his mistakes.

That just leaves Ashley and we already know some summer targets were brought through early in Jan and there's still 7 weeks or so til this window shuts.

All should point to a better year, shouldn't it

It's like dealing with a particularly stupid kid

You are indeed a particularly stupid kid.

The point is quite simple, even for warriors such as yourself.

The doom and gloom I was referring to was the cloud of relegation that we spent a lot of year playing under.

Now we are back to zero and have a few pre season games and the start of a season to look forward to.

You either don't understand this simple event that occurs every year, you are to wrapped up in negativity to enjoy these next few months, or you've ran out of dolls to pull limbs off so you are instead being a cock on the Internet.

A tad boring really ;)

The worry is that with all around us strengthening while all we've done is weaken our squad (however slightly), we might stay on zero for quite a while to come!

I think it's also fair to say that our squad was a lot better than most around us to begin with.

I mean are people saying Sunderland had a better squad than us last year?
