Was just about to post similar, not the hope, it's absolutely nailed on in my opinion that more of the population will watch the semi final as not only is it easier to be able to watch but there's actually something riding on it, the sky crew could never get their heads around it though.

I'd sooner shit on my hands and clap. I remember going to Anfield once with my Irish uncle who supported them. They played Villa and I was about 17 and I was basically doing my uncle a favour as he'd already bought the two tickets before he came over for a few days, he'd have just went by himself and sold it down there if I didn't go. They played Villa and it was surreal being at an away game and we weren't playing. Villa equalised in a 1-1 draw and I was just smirking in their main stand, no real hatred of Villa back then but I'd decided then and there I'd never go to a non NUFC game again, my skin crawled a bit tbh.

When Eddie Howe played for Bournemouth (late 90s-about 2001ish)  I went a fair bit when I wasn’t at a NUFC game but they still had terracing and were in league 1… I just went for the crack really. I couldn’t imagine going to a game there nowadays..
