Played at Wembley 30 times since their take over apparently. Sunday evening, hotels chocker with marathon runners.... I do wonder if this happened to us if.... tbd would get a ticket? Naaah, just kidding, of course he wouldn't. Edited Sunday at 18:10 by Renton

Dunno why they leave that big blank block front left for the cameras. Lots of issues at ours about matchday pricing and reduction of season ticket availability, but I think today is much more about Wembley burn-out, semis and charity shield shouldn't be there etc.. I know 82k yesterday gives the FA a get-out but, since (incl) 2011, today would be City's 28th visit, iirc, that's a big stretch for a northern club's fans whichever way you look at it... (even though you're all still revelling in the warm glow of trophydom!)
Holden McGroin 7978 Posted Sunday at 20:42 Share Posted Sunday at 20:42 I think the gloss comes off a Wembley visit the 28th time. I quite like supporting a shit team (in terms of trophies). It makes winning things (or even getting close to them) all that much special.
PaddockLad 19675 Posted Sunday at 20:49 Share Posted Sunday at 20:49 Could’ve been played at Old Trafford , 90 mins from Nottingham? But the FA make £0 from that… Palace v Villa at MK Dons 😆 1
Holden McGroin 7978 Posted Sunday at 20:52 Share Posted Sunday at 20:52 The semi finals at Wembley tarnish the final for me. It’s all about the wonga though.

Half fancy putting the Man U game on for the lols but they'll probably spawn an undeserved equaliser as apparently they've been shit for a change. Inter lost 0-1. Napoli won 2-0 (both goals by McTominay) to move 3 points clear at the top with just 4 games remaining.

Holden McGroin 7978 Posted yesterday at 06:50 Share Posted yesterday at 06:50 Aye. The story of their decline was funny but they are officially shit now so let’s just move on. Having an entire pundit team made up of Reds (either ex players or scouse ex players mocking them) means it will most likely not go away until they are good again.
Gemmill 52541 Posted yesterday at 06:55 Share Posted yesterday at 06:55 I hope they have a promising start to next season (let's say 7th after 5 games) and then completely fall off it again. Will be gratifying to hear how "United are back!" from all these emotional fanboys masquerading as pundits and journalists, only to have to watch it all go tits up again.
Howmanheyman 37978 Posted yesterday at 07:00 Author Share Posted yesterday at 07:00 About 80% - 90% of television pundits will still put them in their pre-season top 6 in August.

I think there is a decent hard core support but the rest are made up of double fans. A lot of people from Brighton have a second team. It’s very strange. They are doing remarkably well for a football club. Mid table in the PL, European runs, semi-finals etc. they didn’t even have a stadium 20 years ago and had to travel to Gillingham for home games. Easy to forget the shit times. I hope our supporters don’t.

The TNT Comms who usually do Italian football games are better than the ones doing the PL games as there's no real club bias to factor in, however.... because the Napoli game was decided by two Scott McTominey goals it was a 90 minute wankathon because he's not only British but ex-Man United. The trouble with commentator and ex-pro teams is they're like kids egging each other on and trying to outdo each other with every bit of hyperbolic shit they come out with just building it up in layers. Should've tried to find it on the DAZN IT channels, (You can't hear the shit if you don't speak the language plus there's usually some smart presenters and reporters on them as well ).

Tbf a lot of my mates just started taking their kids to the local club and they lucked out on being there for the entire Eddie Howe 3 promotions era. To hear some of them talk now though you would think they weren’t wanking themselves stupid when eg Liverpool won the champions league in 2005 and started trying to look down their nose at me. I like to remind them of that every now and then Edited yesterday at 11:03 by PaddockLad
LondonBlue 1058 Posted yesterday at 15:23 Share Posted yesterday at 15:23 we returned about 5k tickets yesterday. a mixture of wembley losing it's gloss for a 30th visit since the takeover. it being marathon weekend. a 430pm sunday kickoff. ticket price protests ongoing. ticket sourcing protests ongoing. we still outsang them (probably due to a goal 2 mins in tbf) apparently city fans have bought nearly a million tickets for wembley in recent years. forest 70k. i thought about going yesterday but they've moved wolves to this friday night meaning i've had to book time off work and train tickets for me and my eldest. i'd usually drive but not risking being late. Gemmill 52541 Posted yesterday at 15:26 Share Posted yesterday at 15:26 Forest have got Brentford on Thursday night. Brentford have only lost 3 in the last 10 and are no pushovers (drew away at Arsenal this month). Hopefully they can do us a bit of a favour.
