Nowt worse that watching a frustrating game and not being able to check this place to read Wiki calling someone a cunt.

I was laughing at one point thinking with this place it kept my cunt quota down.

Thing is it would have been the ref. He was definitely giving them more of the soft ones, but like Gem said. Bruno was allowing his emotions to get the better of him. How he wasn't carded sooner surprised me.

Shows to me the best way to beat us is to play like us. We do play in a similar way to each other, and since cardigan cunt got the gig there the results have see sawed to dramatic alternate wins for either side. This was their turn. We'll be fine though, Ipswich at home is what the doctor ordered, we could do with the doctor getting Eddie well though as well.

Our starting eleven is as good as villa’s but their squad is much, much better. That was clear yesterday. They changed half a side after their midweek game. We flogged the same players for the third time in a week. Three of our back four are 30+ and they looked it. I thought Schar was lucky not to be sent off, Trippier looked every one of his 34 years, Murphy, Bruno and Joe were all well off it.

Our subs aren’t helping us at all either so we really need to have games won by the 60 minute mark as there’s a massive drop off in quality late in games. Wilson is offering nothing when he comes on. Gordon hasn’t done much since coming back either.

Thank fuck we have a week to recover and prepare and we’re playing Ipswich at home next. We couldn’t have asked for a much better fixture to try to bounce back.

Basically turned out pretty much as I expected, but not quite such a soft capitulation. While I don’t know how they quite did it, their tactics made them look as though they were playing with 12 players. Seemed to boss everything, win most tackles, pass better and have more desire to win.

Bruno was like a petulant child at times and the whole performance from the rest was like rabbits caught in the headlights.

Hopefully a week off and and a good hard look at that performance will get them back on track for Ipswich.

We better hope so given that it's the only remaining match from which you expect us to get points. The team 3rd in the division suddenly set to become Southampton with 4 games to go.

IF ever a game highlighted our lack of pace at the back, it was that one, our lads are OK if they are fully rested, but when they are tiring there's loads of gaps/space appears which isn't there when they're 100%. That happening combined with facing a pacey attacking team isn't a recipe for success.

I would actually be in favour of some sort of internment programme for the Aussies on here, after that dickhead Gillet yesterday. They're not all bad, but we can't take a risk. Get a forum set up called THE CAGE and bounce them all across to it. Just til the end of the season to start with, and then we'll trial letting one or two out during the summer.

We'll beat Ipswich, Chelsea, and Everton. Ipswich relegated and shit, Chelsea in poor form, Everton will be fully on the beach on the last day and it'll be a party atmosphere at SJP.

Minimum of a point from Brighton and Villa.

By the time we play Arsenal, they'll either be focused on a CL final or in the depths that they failed to make the final. I could see us going there and them not being able to match our intensity cos their season is over.

You're being ridiculous and totally underestimating this team to suggest that we can only beat a team in the bottom 3. If that was the case, we wouldn't be sitting

3rd in the table.

Hmmmmmm

It was a weird match. They scored 2 lucky deflections/own goals, but could have had another 3 if Watkins had his shooting boots on. We seemed to be leaving gaps all over the pitch. We need to protect our GD as we might be relying on that to get us into the EL or CL

We used to have a play pen where Ant put Quiff from time to time. Wound him up no end.

That was the frustrating thing. That we just kept passing the ball back to them in dangerous areas to blow a hole in our GD.

Shame the board was down cos yesterday would have been the ideal opportunity to resurrect the CBs vs RW, which is the most urgent position to be upgraded, discussion.

And I think it's clear that the CB crowd would have prevailed and out the thing to bed for a generation.
