Boldon is in the wild no man’s land that forms the area between our superior urban  conurbation and the inferior mackem one.

He was a sofa salesman, and good at his job, but he committed the ultimate sin—and took the commission for a three piece suite after his colleague had done all legwork. Defeated in the small claims court, now he prowls the badlands... hunting late night fares... an avuncular taxi driver with a penchant for camp music... a renegade.

As it happens I haven't drove a Taxi since last September, bar one day I think in March, where I launched a heart felt, yet totally doomed to failure, comeback.  This week is the first time in about 20 years where I have not renewed my Taxi MOT and had to get a far cheaper normal one. I have until January to decide whether to renew my personal Taxi Licence, but alas old age is catching up with me a bit and Im currently seeing a physio for advice (which I am not following as I believe he is wrong). Experts!

Having just watched the first two episodes of shameles (US) , I now think there lies a pretty perfect model to follow. :)

South Tyneside actually and probably closer to the Tyne than most on here

Went on google earth, measured shortest straight line from your car outside your gaff to the Tyne - 4.354km

Ditto My car outside my gaff- 4.361km.

You win by 7 fucking metres.

Next couple of days crucial to Isak's availability.

Really? Two days out from the game and the next couple of days are crucial to his availability?

isak starts, i reckon. he was held back from arsenal to go one final time in the game we were more likelyt to win.

don't be surprised to see big joe in from the start either. apparently he was given an injection, which suggests they might be trying to rinse one final game out of him. but then he's also been rumoured to have been in brazil this week, so who the fuck knows

As in he's not ready to be declared fit yet. It's really not difficult if you take a break from trying to be a clever cunt. 🙄
