Guest BigThompers
So you think any band of now will ever reach that list with music downloads? Retard. If an artist can (like Britney Spears or Eminem who also got their starts in 1999) there's no reason a band shouldn't be able to. They're all competing in the same marketplace. Guest BigThompers
Thompers can you just recap on the criteria for me? As far as I remember you want: Band not an artist Released four or less studio albums Since 1999 No albums prior to 1999 Still not split up I'm still coming up with Linkin Park. What criteria am I missing? Still on the up and not living on former glories, is what you could summarise all of those into. Biggest band in the world, today, was what I said afterall. I see what you mean, best add that to the criteria Band not an artist Released four or less studio albums Since 1999 No albums prior to 1999 Still not split up Most recent album is their biggest seller But doesn't that exclude Coldplay too at the moment? Feel free to clarify each of those rules and add any, because you're leaving the field wide open at the moment. Maybe you could specify they have to be a four piece, or not use samples. GeordieMessiah 2
Worshipping Coldplay as outstanding musical and lyrical talents of our time is equivalent to calling Gordon Ramsey a culinary genius simply because he sticks some pan-fried pancetta in with macaroni cheese, and charges £25 for it as a starter in one of his poncy vaseline-arsed gastropubs.
