Let’s have this right, if Murphy tracks his man the cross for their goal doesn’t even come into the box

It's his positioning/lack of tracking back. He's pushing into shadow striker territory as soon as we have possession but hasn't tracked back when we turn it over. If there was some fruit from him pushing so high it might be on some level worth it, but there has been none, not even a chance created. Eddie has probably told him to get right up there in attack, but he has to be more selective about it. All three of our midfielders were wrong side of their men for their goal.

A pretty meh performance. I would try Walter in the 10 position to see if we can bring some creativity into attack.

I reckon something is going on with Sandro behind the scenes. He isn’t the same player at the moment.

Ramsey been decent I think. Miley doing well at right back considering. Murphy lost his man for the goal, didn’t track the left back. But has been good going forward. Wissa looks good. We look a bit shaky at the back but to be expected with the changes. Be big for confidence if we win this.

We can't complain about our top players being flogged and then shout for them to be back as soon as someone like Willock comes in. Sandro clearly is ill or has a knock. He needs a rest.

Midfield 3 are niether here nor there. Ramsey and Willock pretty ineffective. Livramento isn't good enough on the ball to play this inverted role. Lewis Miley is absolutely class. We need to keep Jacob Murphy in the team as he might be the only player we have who can deliver a dangerous ball into the box.

Just swap out Willock for Tonali.

Alex Murphy really must not be fancied if he we are playing Miley at full back.

He's easily forgiven as he created the first goal, I just never like defenders or combative midfielders getting early yellows, much less for no good reason.
