Watched it on last Friday. Well Gay.
  5. I'll probably turn out beforehand so mimo. Think we're out on the beer afterwards as well, so might be around for a couple after waiting for the crammy lot to get their arses down.
  6. "Cartman Blows" has been the best from this series so far.
  7. Aye, they seem to have got a fair bit of stick for standing up for themselves there.
  8. Quality expression tbf Someone's been watching Snatch tbf.
  9. Agree with that, I don't think there's much call for box-to-box players. I'd rather they were designated attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder, then at least each would know their respective roles. Might be able to use the b2b man instead of one or the other when playing much better sides or poorer sides respectively, or when playing five in midfield, but I'd rather a bit of structure to be honest.
  10. I'm canny sure that Martins and Owen won't work, in the same way that I don't think Dyer and Martins work well together, and for why Shearer and Ameobi never worked. It's a shame like but we sorely need someone who can hold the ball up and play people in. With Owen and Martins on the pitch they'd both be getting their head and running, or trying to get the shot in, when there's a plainly better option.
  11. I've only accrued 75 hours TOIL this year. Give me a break sweetcheeks! Be thankful you get TOIL, you bastard! I don't get paid overtime and I don't accrue TOIL. I would deserve neither if I did, but it's the principle that counts. Something randomly just popped into my head there when thinking what a gigantic mong you are btw. The phrase "I didn't know they stacked shit that high." What film's that from? Full Metal Jacket
  12. Divin't think so, seeing as he's not out of contract until June.
  13. Now I wasn't there (was anyone off here?) so this is all second-hand. Beardsley's First XI (If everyone was fit) Given Ramage Bramble Taylor N'Zogbia Solano Butt Emre Duff Owen Shola Mentioned also that he didn't really rate Martins, wouldn't play Dyer and thinks that Milner is very over-rated. Also had a bit of wank of Paul Scholes, and told a few stories.
  14. Have to start saving some money to be honest so I can see this weekend being fairly quiet. Maybe one drinking day but that'll have to be it.
  15. I think "play" is too strong a word. "Occupy" might be closer to the truth. And it was centre-back with forays to the right and defensive midfield area. Wandering around I think it's best described as.
  16. More hopefully see the end of Parker, but more likely Emre. It's just the same story that was in the Sunday Sun about four weeks ago.
  17. It's not great so far to be honest. Maximo and RHCP and perhaps the Klaxons. Haven't seen Bloc Party live so that might be canny. The rest you can keep. Looking forward to seeing who else is going.
  18. Hey, I'm sure Roeder does want to win every game, but can you see this side the way they're playing now beating anyone? I can't. I'll be surprised if we pick up 0 points from them, but it is possible, especially with Newcastle. But again what should he have said even IF he believes we'll now pick up no more points this season? From my personal point of view, he should at least acknowledge that we're not clear of trouble yet. Having said that though, I've always said that the chairman, manager, and players shouldn't speak to the press anyway. I'd rather they shut up and got on with it. Considering we've the joint worst form in league (joint with Sheffield Utd by the way) it's canny ridiculous to state we're not capable of going down. And I still agree with SLP, a siege mentality might do the team a whole better than blathering to the press, seemingly totally oblivious to the situation we ARE in.
  19. Totally agree. Let's just divert attention away from what the FOOTBALL club is actually about.
  20. It's canny shit now, and they can't do a thing about it.
  21. To be honest, I reckon he could do a lot worse than closing the doors, shutting the media out and getting on with his main job. I couldn't give a flyingn fuck whether there was an interview with one player or other in every edition of the Chronicle.
