Young. U-21 captain. Has come on alot since he debuted. Will just get better and better. Big clubs sniffing around. Can see him turning out to be an excellent player to be honest. Probably with another club (Unless he signs for Spurs)

Shhhhhhhh. Players cant improve! FACT ! Very few players make that sort of drastic improvement. FACT! It's like saying Souness should have had 5 years to sort the team out because that's how long Alex Ferguson needed at Man Utd. I dont think Martins (eg) improving his goal tally from 17 to 25 this season would be a drastic improvement. (Albeit unlikely as we dont have the same amount of games as we did last season.) Players like Lampard & Crouch looked completely average until mid 20s and Drogba didnt come good until then as well. Im not saying Martins will be a world beater but he is a good player and can always improve.

If I was Big and called Sam and I would think about sending him out on loan, We seem to be well stocked with defenders at the moment. Personally think he is a good player and needs games to reach his potential.
