apparently Ryan Giggs is feeling a bit homesick. In a recent quote he said "Whilst very happy and settled in Manchester, I still do Miss Wales every now and then" ;)

Agree with all that except the hair metal bit. Crue when they started were fuckin awesome! Pantera, Megadeth, Exodus, Queensryche, Overkill, Ozzy, Testament. Loads and loads of fantastic metal in the 80's (inc. Def Leppard) -
Seems like an utter prick but yeah, I wouldn't be dissapointed if he wound up here. Over to you team D.A.P! (Dekka, Ash, Pards)

Exactly, in short this season has been mental with everyone slipping up top and bottom at the same sort of times, and our first half of the season saved our arses. .............which is very worrying indeed. -

Footballer in last year of contract holds all the cards, one chance in 100 he stays IMO Why can we not compete with those 2 clubs? Top 4 obvs as they'll have CL money but Spurs and Dippers? Have'nt we just picked up £35m? Lowering of expectations etc........................

fyp Going for a score draw. Hopefully we'll see a couple of the young'uns get a run out. P.s. and lets face it, if we finish higher then we get more transfer budget (alledgedly) -
ooooooooooooooh HARSH man!

Martins with a brain? maybe, but without the brawn. Still, he looks quick and skillfull and if he's 23 (doesn't look it to me mind!) it fits right into our scouting profile. GAN ON DEKKA!!!!

Ranger hopes goals tally will be talking point

PFA to offer Nile Ranger training in handgun posing techniques The Professional Footballers Association is set to offer Newcastle’s Nile Ranger training in the correct way to pose with a firearm. The 20 year-old Newcastle forward was pictured in an amateurish pose holding a gun for what appeared to the first time, to the disgust of his fellow young professionals. PFA Chairman Gordon Taylor told us, “Nile has a lot to learn, clearly. At one end of the scale we have his pathetic pose with a fake gun, and at the other end we have Ashley Cole taking a real one to training and shooting someone.” “Nile is going to have to show that level of commitment if he really wants to get to the very top in this game.” “But at the most basic level, if he can’t hold a gun in the correct manner then he gives all footballers a bad name.” Newcastle fans have said the incident has been blown out of all proportion, insisting Ranger was never likely to be of any danger to anyone. Newcastle resident Simon Matthews said, “Posing for photos whilst holding what looks like a deadly weapon is a right of passage for all young black footballers, right?” Season ticket holder Mick Gollowgate told us, “All this attention is silly, I’ve seen him shoot and you’re in no danger whatsoever as long you stand directly in front of him.” http://newsthump.com/2011/05/17/pfa-to-off...ing-techniques/ -

I think I've said before that in my darker moments I think losing a third of the human race (or more) might actually be good from a big picture angle - the only thing that would do that is something as big as a meteor/comet strike. Muslims? maybe the yanks are on to something...............................
