And also easy to spit his dummy out. I blame our lack of form this season on him. If he didn't have his fit in the summer through his agent about playing out of position, i think we'd be doing a lot better! I don't care how many goals a player provides, Nolan was the same - but he went.

I don't blame Pardew for our recent crap form. The players just don't seem up for it, Cisse is off form, Jonas has nothing left for this side, Ferguson again looks lost, Williamson is just crap. And who can he bring in to replace these? Ranger? Ba and Cisse cannot play together period. I'd take 7-8 mil for Ba and bring a new striker into the club in Jan. Cisse has touch like a rapist at the moment.

We've actually being playing good football in Europe, much better than the pish in the league. Should we make this competition a priority? I cannot see us qualifying for Europe again in the league, nor can I see us being relegated, so I personally think we should give this a whack! I'd like us to take it seriously once we qualify for knock-outs on Thursday.

I don't really see what Jonas is bringing to the team this season. Lost a yard of pace, won't make the mazy runs anymore, and just holds the ball up for Santon to get up the line to give it to him. What do you do son? I think we need to be looking for a replacement in January, Adam Johnson would have been perfect, or Hoillet minus the attitude. I think we need to be looking to create more chances from out wide, because our build up play is so much more effective than direct, and would be a hell of a lot better if it came from the left like it does with Barfa on the right.

We don't need sissoko unless someone leave. But imo, I happy with the cover of either Anita or Bigirimana. I think we need to replace Jonas. He doesn't seem to provide us much attacking wise. Never has mind, but his mazy runs are not existent now. He provides cover for Santon to push up but imagine if we had a Ben Arfa on the left, but could also defend. Main priorities are a CB, Striker and a LW

I agree with you. I didn't think it was a red at the time, and don't think it's a red now. What I take into account is that he's being pulled back by Colbeck. You can see he's trying to pull he weight forward but Ginger is holding him back. When the whistle blows, he lets go and Tiote looks to try harder to reach the ball. Now if he wasn't being pulled back, that 'challenge' would have met the ball, so I believe by Colbeck pulling, it causes the 'challenge' to happen. I don't think the ref has taken the whole situation into consideration. He's just seen the boot high and sent him off. Shame because we would have completely destroyed them.

Rumour is that Chelsea want Demba Ba as a replacement for Daniel Sturridge. I would hope that if Chelsea made an approach, that Newcastle ask for a like-for-like swap for Sturridge. We can offer him 1st team football and hopefully Europe still next season. Only stumbling block would be wages, but didn't he already say he would take a pay cut if necessary? Thoughts?

Santon/Ben Arfa mix on the right could be lethal!! The run out wide from Santon might give more space for Ben Arfa to cut inside. Glad to see ferguson getting a start

I like it how Cabaye and Tiote are still mentioned in same midfield, after all the recent comments. Tiote is 'injured' apparently. Imo they're keeping him fit to sell before the deadline. Also, we'll see if Cabaye is leaving tonight. Cabaye played in Greece so I would have said he would play tonight. If he's in the squad/plays, I reckon he's staying. If he's not involved at all, gone.
