The Police were on the ball and nowt else happened that I saw and most, (including myself), went on their way for a pint. Had a pint pre-game with a few older scouse lads who were decent enough and when we offered to show them a short cut they got very windy, tried to go the other way and one of them asked one of our lot if we were going to jump them! I don't know what else I can do? Nothing he owns (including the club) has had a penny out of me for the last 2 years already. I feel like washing my hands completely but know I'll not be able to. He's ripping the heart out of the club for me - quite literally. He's got his ST money from me and nothing else. Last year he didn't get that, just went with a fellow posters ST or bought a ticket match by match, next year he won't even get the match by match money. I've had enough of the pair of cunts. They'll get NOTHING from me other than they've already got. It’s the only way. I'm no bairn, and it's not even anger anymore, (well, ok, it is), but he's got to go and the only way to get him sweating his portly little features is to squeeze the cunt where it ultimately hurts. What a price to pay, though. It's not the first time I've stayed away over a principle and the first time was far more of a sacrifice but it's still something that I don't want to do but will. It’s clearly in the best interests of NUFC for Ashley to fuck off and the quickest way to reach that outcome is, as you say, is to hit him where it hurts. It’s a big sacrifice to stop going but the means justifies the ends and anyone who really cares about NUFC has to do what needs to be done. To be fair to CT, a union is only as strong as its members, if the NUST all to a man went on a mass walkout how many would that actually be? (especially since the craic coming out of here about the way this supporters club has evolved has meant reduced members). If the NUSC had of came out with something similar when they were on a roll, who knows? the NUST now wouldn't even contemplate it, now. Joe 'Geordie' Public didn't want to get involved with supporters groups and protests and that's the top and bottom of it.

Spoken like someone who doesn't get to many games. I'm sorry, mate, I know what you mean but I don't support Spartans, Whitley Bay or the Walker Fosse, I support Newcastle United and have already paid for my season ticket so fatty has my cash already. Last season I wouldn't get a season ticket and prefered to pay per game/cadge off an exiled Mags ST, (cheers Paddock Lad ) as rumours were rife he was going to sell and I didn't want him walking off in the sunset with my cash instead of it going to NUFC for players. Next year I might not renew, this year however is too late, and CT is right that a lot of our support will just scoff at the very idea as unfortunately quite a lot have either seen it all before or just think that the 'boss always wins' in the end.

It's a shame he seems to be pro-Ashley, but I'm not exactly aware of who he's supposed to have stabbed in the back? I've never met the bloke but know a few who have and nobody has mentioned any huge ego or anything. Bastard! Giving this a try tonight One of the most pissed occasions I've yet gotton into a good few years ago ended up with me on top of a bus shelter waving and smiling at people on the top deck of the buses that went up Shields Road in Byker early on a summers evening after drinking cheap bottles of 7.5% abv cider that 'Wor Jackies' were getting rid of.
