  1. No, I did get to Filbert Street a couple of times but not this one. I briefly worked with a kid who lost an eye at the game you're talking about. The 5-4 defeat where Quinny scored a hat-trick and where future hero David Kelly hit three for them is the only game I've been to where we parked by lifting the car up and moving it into a tight parking space side on.
  2. 2nd December and the first part isn't going too well, still waiting on Gloomy for 2nd part of post.
  3. Drinking tea. Think I better dance now.
  4. PaddockLad Christmas Tree ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aye, I can see the similarities to be quite honest.
  5. Not too dissimilar to myself. Ask your accountant if she knows what herself, a Pelican and the HMRC all have in common? If she says 'no' then inform her that they can all stick their bills up their arse before hanging up. (Hope you sort your tooth out ok for less than fucking £400 as well!)
  6. Yep. He's a blued eyed Man U golden boy though. Hope this appointment and his next one end in tears.
  7. Might need a steamy love scene with a buxom nurse to spice it up a bit?
  8. Should've been two as Soldado misses in front of goal plus Lennon missed a sitter early on.
  9. Spurs 1-0 up at old trafford deservedly despite what the commentator and the spectacularly useless Michael Owen say.
  10. Be interesting to see what happens next year if the loan players depart and are not replaced.
  11. To be blunt, we just can't seem to draw with these at all never mind beat them. Watch it through your fingers I'm afraid.
  12. I'd love us to stuff Allardyce's side especially as I may well be at that game. Will Nolan be available?* *Think he will.
  13. Only consolation is that it's still 6 points between us and Southampton and that Spurs and Man U can't both win today. Plus another team near the bottom got beat at home so I believe.
  14. There was quite a bit of space in that game, players from both sides got free into decent positions but everyone looked jaded out there. Really should've made something count and I thought Remy, Sissoko and Ameobi were the worst culprits on that count. Debuchy took the ball not man but that doesn't count at all when you lunge in two footed like that, really fucking stupid of him to now be out for three games is it?
  15. Just not good enough and we've brought it on ourselves. The amount of times we attacked in numbers earlier on just to fuck the pass up.
  16. The final ball has been shit. And there's debuchy off as well. We've wasted this game.
  17. Just to let you all know, on this day in 1934 we beat Liverpool 9-2 just in case anyone feels like going on their message boards and bragging about it or putting it in their sigs or anything like that? Only joking, which sad bastards would do something like that?
  18. Like Vienna to Ultravox, Lawro means nothing to me.
  19. What do you call a Sunderland v Aston Villa match thread on Toontastic? Asif
  20. I have absolutely no idea what this post is about but good luck anyway!
  21. Well a victory here and a draw between Man U and Spurs could see us at sixth tomorrow but regardless of other teams I expect another close game with these if we're on our game, (We can be doing without a 'Swansea' performance). Being at home on New Years day is an advantage so I really hope we're at it from the off. Reckon Pardew will change things a bit and maybe rest one at least before making his usual wholesale cup changes next Saturday against Cardiff. Can see Sissoko being rested and can see Shola starting alongside Remy and possibly putting Ben Arfa on from the start. Might have to settle for a point as these away wins are bound to dry up a bit. Lets hope not yet though, eh?
