  1. Fucking hell it's the forum police! Probably on the grounds that during daytime he's nearly always online and posting and he posts some absolute garbage which is deserving of the response it gets. I think you'll find the majority of my posts are not in response to him, nor do I single him out. The reason he's 'fine' in the gaming forum is because he's actually posting about the subject in question rather than just trying to be a bellend. FWIW I post in there too and haven't had a go at him because what he posts is actually sensible and on topic. In GC though he's an idiot and despite several suggestions from regulars to think about what he's posting before he actually does, he carries on regardless. He's young and daft - will look back on what he's posted in a few years (if he's still posting here) and cringe in all honesty.
  2. would he? you cant account for form, harts a damn good keeper and had one of those days a standard given performance woulndt have yielded the same result The media have whipped this whole thing into a frenzy. Hart hasn't become a world-beater overnight and has actually become England's number 1 on account of others being too old / too shit than anything that he has specifically done. He is an excellent keeper and had a good game yesterday admittedly but he was under the media spotlight on account of his inclusion ahead of Given and, unlike other keepers around the division, didn't drop any clangers this weekend. Is he a better keeper than Given? Not in my mind. I'll say one thing for Joe Hart, he has his head screwed on. Given had about 5 or 6 matches last season where he put in performances like that - Hart knows that he must put those performances in as regularly otherwise those bigging him up will be the ones quickly knocking him down. Can see why Man City are keen to keep him too. He's younger than Given and English (which shouldn't have any bearing but it always seems to where value is concerned).
  3. Who's still here from then though? Steven Taylor, Harper and Ameobi? The management and boardroom is completely different and there's no Shearer in any capacity either. Take your point but he might still be bitter about the club, notwithstanding that the protagonists have long gone. I get the impression he's not the sharpest tool in the box. On the flip side I think he's one of the more intelligent players, you can't be both totally thick and that opinionated surely. LeazesMag is the exception, not the rule. haha. Scraping the barrel now thompers...... Top players wanted to come here and play in europe. Now they don't. Take a good look at yourself lad. Which top players wanted to come here, Leazes? oh dear Seems like a reasonable question deserving of a logical answer rather than this which is quite frankly arrogant. I don't think 'top players' have wanted to come here for donkey's years in truth - definitely back to the mid 90s under Keegan. And even then it was more a case of the better players already in this country rather than us picking off the cream of Europe. Since Keegan left in 1997, which players who've signed for us can be classed as 'top'? Dyer - in truth was a promising kid we took a punt on. Woodgate - being sold by a club in financial difficulty looking for a club to pay as much as possible. Owen - came to us because he wanted to go to the WC in 2006 and Liverpool didn't want him. When was the last time a player was deperate to sign for NUFC and who was it?
  4. I take it he's never heard of wearing a cap when it's sunny?
  5. If Myra Hyndley shagged Paul McCartney…… Fucking hell
  6. I'm sure he could get a job in McDonalds if he could be arsed
  7. The rumours of Given off to Arsenal are gathering some pace. Schwarzer must be absolutely pissed off!
  8. Going by some of the goalkeeping performances this weekend I reckon you'll get short odds on Harper sticking it his own net
  9. Over to you - I'm suggesting that what you've said has gone completely over my head. I don't see the connection between what I've said and what you've said. A suggestion was made that Bellamy might not be interested in returning given what happened before. I've pointed out that the people he had issue with are no longer associated with the club. You're on about Liverpool 'winning' things...
  10. Indeed he is old enough to know better but I'll be amazed if Liverpool don't appeal and not at all surprised that, if they do, it gets rescinded.
  11. Who's still here from then though? Steven Taylor, Harper and Ameobi? The management and boardroom is completely different and there's no Shearer in any capacity either. was thinking the same but it doesnt change anything in football does it liverpool still like to say that theyve won but aside from 2005 (where theyve still hardly anyone left) how many were involved in the other wins and are still at the club?
  12. Because it wasn't two-footed, it was one-footed with the trailing leg catching him and it wasn't high either. If that was a sending off offence they might as well make football a non-contact sport right now.

  14. makes it more dangerous and less controlled, which does make it more of a red really "dangerous play" and all that Rubbish! You can sprint 10 yards and still make a decent challenge that isn't dangerous or uncontrolled. Cole's challenge was a foul and was worthy of a card. But it wasn't a red - we'd have been livid if that had happened to us. If I've interpreted it correctly, Meenzer's point was that the sprint made it look worse to the referee than it actually was - that I can agree with.
  15. The Journos are convinced this 6 month deal with Cardiff is as good as signed.
  16. Disagree. When this one made contact it was at ground level. Barton's was around the knee.
  17. koscielny is back out so theyve got 2, hes been lucky really "lads in the studio" talking absolute bollocks about coles nature and "to the letter of the law its a sending off" its not because its the letter of the law that coles been sent off, its because it was a fucking shoddy, dangerous tackle Wasnt that bad. yeh, late, two footed, halfway up his shin on his standing leg it was alright i guess It wasnt two footed, it was his trailing leg that gave the arsenal lad a 'bump'. it had scissored round by the time it was bumping him, trapping koscielnys leg between both of coles looking at the area it was in it was unnecessary anyway, then you've got the fact that, for a "block" he was strangely close to koscielny, close enough to him to be wrapping his legs around his standing, back leg, steaming in like that and then scissoring the leg as he did LK is lucky hes not out for a long time after that challenge how anyone can defend it is beyond me it was disgusting listening to the "pundits" at half time talking about how he shouldnt have been sent off Just watched it again on MOTD2, it was soft as fuck man - should have been a yellow. Never should have been a red in a month of Sundays.
  18. How would you translate bouche-trou out of interest? He isnt there just to make up the numbers? Never mind the translation, he should have gone to Specsavers.
  19. Now you're just being silly. Not one, but two refereeing decisions to go against them at OT? Mind that pile of rocking horse shit won't you?
  20. agree as shack said, Consistently is the issue fyp Appalling use of grammar.

Consistently is the big issue here
  22. From this morning's 'Goals on Sunday' - Zebra vomit!
