  1. Aye, how the fuck you got a B in ICT when you don't know the difference between a Blu-ray drive and a hard drive is beyond me too. Because I'm good at ICT, duh. Honestly Kevin? I think you've revised well for it but with all the respect in the world, I wouldn't say you're 'good' at it. Some of the IT-related statements you've made on here of late suggest otherwise.

  3. Agreed with it too. The big pointer of all of them is the pace IMO. The two periods I have seem this club produce a successful team - 1992-97 & 2001-04 we had devestating pace. We've had absolutely none since Dyer left in reality.
  4. That's the problem, he clearly isn't and in my view never has been.
  5. Yep. Gone are the days of grade U as well it seems.
  6. lowest you can get. Don't like politics, forced into it, didn't work, didn't pay attention, took the hand on my exam. It's a fail. Are you shitting me I thought it was a pass It also doesn't exist any more Kevin....

  8. Hating oneself is a pretty sorry state of affairs.
  9. What a complete bell end this man is. Why even give the subject of 'who will be booed' any media coverage at all? Padding!!
  10. Paul Fraser, Northern Echo:
  11. Did you seriously never work out that he was doing that to wind you up?
  12. Is the other 2 Les Ferdinand and possibly Carbone?.. LOL....hope your source is right about HBA mate. one is a dutch lad, 20 year old, apparently enquired about him last thurs and negotiating, weve offer 3.5 and they want closer to 4.5 also some lad from uraguay who played in world cup not sure of name, just hes 27 The Dutch lad is Fer. Didn't someone mention we had a bid for Cheick Tioté turned down? He plays in Holland at the moment - admittedly he's not Dutch like...
  13. No I knew that. 71,000 iirc, was always the first thing I looked for in Football 85 believe it or not "St James' Park, Newcastle upon Tyne 36,585". You learn something new every day!
  14. At least 6. The cup semi-final in 2005 was no better than yesterday's performance. Last time we were competing with them was under Robson (probably the game where Keane was sent off having tried to lamp Shearer) and even then they always just had the edge. We have had a few beatings by them, but the difference was that we had a quality enough to have a go and think we had a chance to give as good as we got. The worst thing of all is just to sit back and accept inferiority and be happy to keep the score down. Which is pretty much what Hughton said before the game too. Nice guy, but is this the attitude infiltrating out of the club these days. We are Newcastle, not Stoke or Blackburn or Bolton. We have to play these teams at their own game and we must have players in the team that they themselves would want to have. No but sadly by definition we're on a par with them at the moment.
  15. obviously it depends on the investor. i'd be excited if i was a blackburn fan about whether the rumours about this bloke are to be believed. that said, i was excited about ashley taking over too. who'd have known we'd be getting the country's most incompetent billioanaire? Exactly. We were excited about Ashley, Liverpool were excited about the Yanks, West Ham were excited about the Icelandics, Portsmouth were excited about that Arab fella. In some respects we've not been managed (from a fianancial perspective) terribly. At least we haven't been used to serve debt in the same way Liverpool, Manchester United and others have. Personally I think there should be legislation in place to prevent that from happening where football clubs are concerned.
  16. Not a chance in hell he'd come but I'd have him back here like a shot.
  17. Portsmouth Yep, and that twat claimed he'd have bought us if Ashley's price had been reasonable, didn't he? It sticks in the throat somewhat that those that took over at Man City were interested in us but at the time Ashley didn't want to sell
  18. I think £ 90 k a week is a deciding factor......... As ever the Buffet Car buffoon with his classic comments. Rob you're always up to speed on things. Cardiff are in major debt troubles, do you seriously think they could commit £5m to wages for one year I'm struggling to think of a bigger coup by a non top flight club for a player since we signed Kevin Keegan in 1982. Didn't Fulham get some pretty big names when Keegan/Wilkins took over down there?

  20. The most overused notion is this belief that a buyout returns instant success and a bottomless pit of money to spend. Chelsea and Man City are the exception to the norm on that one on a massive, massive scale.
