  1. OH DEAR! just got up and seen this headline. Hope this doesnt affect their game today. TBH, i expected more from Nolan. My nephew recently got Nolans name on the back of his shirt, and this isnt exactly sending out the right message.
  2. That's what I was thinking. He may pull a bit of a Mick McCarthy. I'd be happy with a top notch defensive effort that gets us a 0-0. (Like we did at Stamford Bridge a few years back.) Probably Wish Campbell was fit ... I remember reading something about him wanting to be fit for the man utd game at the start of the season. I knew it wouldnt happen. Whats wrong with him now anyway?
  3. Im still sticking with my views on him. I'd take him over shola/ranger/lovendkrands any day.
  4. hmm.. i think its too risky. I dont think its as simple as saying those who have some pace will be good at running off the last defender. You need to be able to read the game, make those runs. Plus he would provide nothing else as a forward, no hold up play(as he has no strength), no link up play and certainly no aerial threat.
  5. Theyre not leading anymore. Down 2-1 btw why arent fabregas and arshavin playing? Is he resting them for us?
  6. 2009–2010 Wolfsburg 16 (6) 2010– Rubin Kazan 11 (2) dont just throw random stats. They dont mean jack. Fair enough hes not a prolific goal scorer but hes better than ranger and ameobi combined. He only started 7 games for Wolfsburg and yet still managed 6 goals. He's started 8 games for rubin kazan and scored 2. Bare in mind he only joined them this season so you cant expect him to start firing on all cylinders. Plus hes still young so has time to develop his game
  7. I'd take him back 100%. He was the only player i would look forward to watching last season in the prem and for those who think our team is a lot better this time round think again. If we had lost to sunderland, i can assure you many of the above views would be different. Its not martins' fault that he had to play alongside 2 of the most horrendous players in the world (owen and shola). If that wasnt bad enough, he was having to resort to expecting through balls from nicky butt and alan smith. Fuck that. I genuinely reckon with barton on form to provide the crosses/thruballs and carrol to knock them down for the striker, obafemi would be a different player.
  8. Not really sure what your music taste is like but my friend sent me this song the other day by citizen cope. Nice chill track. #These feelings wont go awayyyyyyyyyy#
  9. Had to read your nonsense twice and it still didnt make much sense. Get some sleep mate. And for those mackems who can't sleep, here you are: Mackem suicide hotline: 0800-51515151
  10. Just that she was a pretty girl to say she was from Kent, but she should leave the football predictions to the blokes and I said I'd love say I hope you stay up but I dont and ended with a "bye x". Abused Grant too. Good, they thought they had turned the corner, they are more worried now than at any point this season. Hope its them, Wolves and Blackburn. Hope its not blackburn because im from there and its the only guaranteed newcastle game i can afford to watch. (Hope its wolves, west ham and err wigan).
  11. FYP You shouldnt be fixing posts too early lol Come on shola!
  12. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! GVOIRBBICO[RSH BCW=O IWCJIGNH BCW JIHBTCWJ]BCJ]]WT]RTRWPBÓÓ I HATE IT WHEN WE PLAY ON A SATURDAY, IT RUINS MY FUCKIN WEEKEND! FUCK PERCH AND HIS PATHETIC DEFENDING. 13. OK GUYS NEED SOME HELP. When watching the other games as a neutral who should i support. For example West Ham vs Tottenham, I want west ham to win because i hate hate spurs fans but then i think if our goal is to stay up this season, surely i should be wanting Totthenham to win, right? Confuseddddddd
  14. Dear oh dear! Liverpool goal shouldnt have counted but sunderland have just equalised with a penalty. Hodgson out by december? (slight exaggeration)
  15. I thnk we've found a gem in Ferguson, so confident on the ball. Agreed and it's amazing he's only 13. Gosling can play right back, I'd give him a try there our weakest position. He seems a canny player but I think he'l have to hit puberty before he hits top form.
  16. I watched him play against accrington and i rememeber thinking this guy looks half decent. Unfortunately for him, lua lua stole the limelight that day. Having said that he looks like a kid and doesnt have a footballers build. Hopefully he can get some meat and height on him in the years to come.
  17. Im really tired so i'l tell you what i think in bullet points: @ Maradonna tried this and he didnt really provide much attacking or defensively. @ Perch is better defensively than gutierez, but that doesnt say much about perch tbh. @ Perch is getting better with each game so would be silly to drop him at this stage. @ Playing gutierez at RB, would knock the confidence of both Perch and Simpson- wouldnt be good for the team. @ I still like the idea of gutierez being on the pitch (i have a soft spot for him ) so if perch starts performing poorly why not. Have i just contradicted everything ive said, doh!
  18. With our team doing so well and players like Barton/Arfa/Tiote cementing their place in the starting 11, where do Gosling and Guthrie fit in to the current squad? I remember when the championship season finished, many of us were talking about how Guthrie has progressed well as a player and seems to do well in spreading the play and finding our wingers. Scored a cracker last season and before his injury and the signing of tiote, he was a guaranteed starter. The signing of Gosling was also one majority of us were happy with and most of us agreed that he could easily fit into our starting 11, is that still the case now with arfa and tiote in the team. Maybe they can play some part in the cup run, if theyre fit by then and we're still in it. Either way, its a good position to be in for the manager and exciting for the fans. PS: We should bid 5 million plus Ameobi (lol) for Van Anholt in january, looked a cracking player when he played for us and looks even better now.
  19. Dilemma now is whether to field a stronger 11 or do you stick with the young lads who got you through. I'd personally give players like vukic and ameobi some playing time in the premiership games (maybe after 70 mins or so) and see how they fair. That would make his choice easier.
  20. The Germans would have less angst if they told a few jokes about it tbh. No point in worrying about what you can't change. What about the East End of London which was decimated for 141 days over 6,000 dead, they lived through it and battled on without wallowing in self pity. What happened to the jews was the biggest atrocity in human history, it should be remembered, but it shouldn't define them as people. Because when 6million die it affects almost every Jewish family at that time. People lost 2,3,4 close relatives. Murder for your beliefs isn't funny, even if a small minded cretins from a town half a continent away don't agree. Being against racism on here seems to get you branded as PC for some reason. Im not on about banning conkers in schools! Where's the racism ya daft cunt?? You are a total nob do you know that. I'd love to know what you class as racism like. If you're not telling Wyki that every Eastern European is a backwards race of cunts, you're calling out Bradford for being full of Asians, Or telling the Jews to get over the Holocaust Or laughing at seeing at not being able to see a black man in a dark room, or voting for the BNP, or being banned for your racist comments on here . . . . Ya daft cunt? You accuse me of being a Pc machine but you are a walking stereotype if I ever saw one. You give Geordies a bad name tbh. +1 Well said dynamite. I seriously doubt that like. What would be the motive for an A&E doctor to do that? Risk their career for what exactly? Ive been working in a hospital environment for 2 years now and even though i havent seen it myself it sounds very plausible. In that sort of an environment, especially AnE, where people are coming in and out with Strokes and M.I's all the time, if a practioner feels that it is certain that a patient is 99.9% dead and that his/her organs could be used to save anothers life if he acts quickly, then it wouldnt surprise me if he acted in such a way where his actions are not conforming with medical law completely. Whether that be through spending less time resuscitating or anything else. Not many people actually get the full time on resuscitation anyway, donor or not. Having said that, i think the above case referenced by dynamite is a rarity. I think its more about doctors rushing the procedure of pronouncing patients dead than anything else.
  21. Youre right they do. I think it was always going to be difficult for him to have that austerity and assertiveness with some of the senior players as his initial relationship with the players was as a coach. Its like one of your work colleages has been promoted as your boss. Anyway, hopefully this defeat will give him more courage in dropping the senior players and making braver decisions. Did anyone find out why nolan was shouting at the bench today?
  22. Houghton really needs to cheike his tactics for this game, arfa the team is playing poorly. Il get my coat.
  23. If someone has a river flowing, i dont mind a swim. If not, just listenening to the river will be fine, if anyone has one. Thanks
