Jimbo did want rid before any of the newspapers got started on him like. Difficult to blame the press when our "supporters" do a fine job of dragging us down themselves.
-
I'm more concerned with what happens on the pitch rather than what is written in by the gutter press tbh.

I think Buffy and Angel are shit though Dave so I'm not going to sit through Firefly I enjoyed Serenity but I found Firefly very tedious, a western set in space just didn't work in my opinion.

If in doubt click "Geremi"

Strange story behind Newcastle target Baheng
Jimbo replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Nowt on SSN yet, Diarra has been mentioned though. -
Plays rightback for France though doesn't he ?

I liked Serenity too, although I got the feeling you'd have been better off having watched Firefly first, which I hadn't.

Well, I supose you can use "World Trade Center" as a paperweight or something I'll be getting a load of HD quality films for coppers while the blu-ray owners continue to pay through the nose though. So swings and roundabouts. Honestly the negative spin you put on things. Real glass half empty kinda guy aren't you. No not at all really, I just thought World Trade Center was one of the worst films I'd ever seen, and I was surpised to see a film buff like yourself buying it

Get a new shirt man. Might have to

Yes, to replace Viduka, Smith, Ameobi

Manhattan Good, but no where near as good as Annie Hall.

jimbo your a tosser! But yeah skol i think thats a pretty fair a just assessment to be honest. Think if ramage can come back strong will do well. Enrique should be played at left back but think the fact he cant speak english plays a part. Milner needs to up his game or move on, though i do like the lad. Well then martins i too would love to see him turn into a world class striker and do have faith or hope or whatever it is, the lad has something but needs to be in a confident side. We have a GOOD squad despite jimbo being jimbo and talk out his arse week in week out. We just need time to grow as a unit, not read the papers and concentrate on our football! We'll finish 8th this season and maybe get into intertoto cup...next year we will come back a much better team.
-
Is there an argument in that? I didn't think so. It was meant to be a list of my personal opinion of everyone in the first team squad. Feel free to agree, disagree, blow off etc. there's nothing argumentative about it. To be honest, I can't disagree with your assesments, so I'm not trying to argue, I was just wondering if you were making a point. All I would say is it just simply a case that our squad is shite or that we have a band of players that are not meeting their potiential, or have a manager how can't make players play above themselves. I'm not sure either tbh.
-
Whats your argument ? "looking at our squad its no surprise we are shite "?
-
Well he played 228 times for leeds and scored 56 goals, so whats that? Just under 1 in 4 games....see not bad really but could be better! Take serious injury and constantly being played out of position, no wonder he hasnt scored for us yet, but given time he will! Every one is entitled to there opinion but i stand by mine he is a good player and does not deserve the level of stick he gets on here! Let’s see how far accepting mediocrity on an off the pitch gets us shall we ?

Ultimately the measure of a striker is how many goals he scores, and Smith's measure is there for all to see in that department.

Beyond the mat A insightful documentary on a fucked up industry.

Cracking film. Still to date one of the best right hooks a lass gets in any film I love that film.

Geremi - For the Toon I think he's been a disgrace, but I find it hard to believe a player can decline so quickly Beye - Excellent, very impressive. Faye - Very impressed so far. Rozenhal - Impressive early on but is gradually looking like a very average defender. Cacapa - Flashes of brilliance, flashes of Bramble. Smith - A very ordinary striker, a very poor midfielder but will always give his all. Enrique - Looks to have potential but too early to judge Viduka - Knows what he wants to do but it seems his body can't do it, a world class eye for goal but the work ethic of a McDonalds trainee. Barton - A huge risk interms of temprement, has looked deciededly poor on the pitch so far but doesn't seem 100% match fit since his preseason injury.
-
Smith's effort and commitment is a lesson to many players, but as a striker I think he's rather ordinary, and as a midfielder he's very poor, but you can always count on him giving 100%.
