No. He's done fantastically well, but is not the man to take the club forward.

Lets face facts it will be Roeder one way or another, either Roeder with Craig named as manager or Roeder given special dispensation from the FA to take the roll, either way Roeder will be incharge. Roeder has done exeptionally well, but he can't get us challenging for the CL in my opinion, or draw big name players.

Lets hope so, personally, I'm sick to death of the whole thing.

He used to be a player that could run past players at Man City.

A teenage Somali boy has stabbed to death his father's killer in a public execution ordered by an Islamic court. Large crowds gathered at a Koranic school in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, to watch Mohamed Moallim, 16, stab Omar Hussein in the head and throat. Hussein had been convicted of killing the boy's father, Sheikh Osman Moallim, after a row about Mohamed's education. Islamic courts have brought a semblance of order to Mogadishu, imposing Sharia law after years of rule by warlords. Under Sharia law those who commit murder are punishable by death. Keeping the peace Hussein was tied to a stake and had his head covered by a bag ahead of his execution. He shouted "There is no God but Allah" as Mohamed Moallim stepped up to take his revenge. Speaking afterwards, the boy said he felt satisfied that Hussein was dead. "I am happy now because I killed the man who killed my father," he told the Reuters news agency. The execution marked the first time the local court in the Bermuda district of Mogadishu had handed down a death penalty, local media reported. Residents in the nearby area have reported a drop in robberies, murder and general lawlessness since the court began its work, Radio HornAfrik said.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Alberto Zaccheroni (born 1 March 1953, in Meldola, Emilia-Romagna) is an Italian football manager who is currently unemployed. He has managed a number of top clubs in Serie A and is renowned for his unconventional 3-4-3 tactical system. Zaccheroni's playing career was relatively short. He became a manager at the age of 30, while most other players who were the same age continued their career. He started off his coaching career at Cosenza. He moved on to Riccione then San Lazzaro, Baracca, Venezia, Bologna before returning to Cosenza. His managerial career took off during the 1997-98 season with Serie A side, Udinese. He guided them to the dizzy heights of 3rd place in the league, thus qualifying them for next seasons UEFA Cup. Zaccheroni's great results at Udinese attracted the attention of Italian giants A.C. Milan, who appointed him as manager after the San Siro club had endured 2 miserable seasons. Fellow Udinese colleagues, Oliver Bierhoff and Thomas Helveg joined him in Milan. Zaccheroni delivered instantly, as Milan won the league in the 1998-99 season, pipping Lazio and Fiorentina to the title. The following season was less successful for Zaccheroni as Milan exited the UEFA Champions League early, and although finishing 3rd in Serie A, they were never really in the running for the title. The 2000-01 season was even worse for Zaccheroni, as Milan, again, struggled in the Champions League and finished a lowly 6th in Serie A. This lead to Milan President, Silvio Berlusconi, sacking Zaccheroni and replacing him with Turkish manager, Fatih Terim. Zaccheroni was without a job for a few months before Lazio came calling, after Dino Zoff had resigned. The Rome club had endured a terrible start to the season yet Zaccheroni managed a 6th place finish, thus earning Lazio a UEFA Cup place. Despite Zaccheroni's brave efforts, he parted company with the Italian giants, to be replaced by Roberto Mancini. Zaccheroni was again called upon in the mid-season of 2003-04, this time to try and save Internazionale. Despite crashing out of the Champions League after a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Arsenal at the San Siro, he managed to lift Inter to 4th place in Serie A, thus earning them a Champions League place for next season. However, Inter president, Massimo Moratti, was not convinced of Zaccheroni's abilities, and he was again replaced by Roberto Mancini.

Blaine's underwater stunt begins Illusionist David Blaine has begun his latest stunt - spending seven days underwater in his "human aquarium" challenge in New York. The 33-year-old lowered himself into a 2.5m (8ft) acrylic sphere filled with water at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. A mask and air line will keep Blaine alive, while food will be provided through a tube. "My only fear is the unknown," Blaine said before descending into the sphere. 'Pretty insane' Hundreds of people turned out on Monday to see Blaine - who spent 44 days in a suspended acrylic box over the River Thames in 2003 - begin his latest stunt. After seven days he will attempt to break the world record for holding breath under water, which currently stands at eight minutes, 58 seconds. He revealed an unexpected twist to the challenge, telling reporters he would be handcuffed into 150lb (68kg) of metal chains for the dramatic finale. "So basically besides holding my breath for about nine minutes hopefully I will have to escape from all these chains, and if not I will drown and the world will see something pretty insane," he said. Dr Murat Gunel, who specialises in surgical treatment of strokes, said a lack of adequate oxygen in Blaine's brain during the breath-holding challenge, especially after seven days under water, carried a risk of irreversible brain injury. "David might never be the same again," he said. "Even if he is fine immediately after, there is a risk for developing seizures in the long run. "We all advised him against this stunt." Blaine entered the "bubble" wearing trousers, rubber shoes and a special diving mask. During the seven-day challenge the water temperature will be maintained at around 36C and he will be able to control his own core body temperature by wearing specially designed wetsuits. He has also undergone intensive training for the challenge, shedding 50lbs (23kg) in body weight since January to improve the efficiency with which his body uses oxygen. "I feel pretty good. Though I've been sleeping very little and breath-holding non-stop," Blaine said. "My system is completely empty and I did that so there's no waste. That way in the sphere I don't have to use the bathroom."

Steven Gerrard: "Any team without Wayne Rooney isn't as strong. In my eyes he is one of the world's best players now at 20," said the Liverpool skipper. "It would be a disaster for England if we had to go to the World Cup finals without Wayne. He is idolised around the country and is our main man. "I think it is impossible to have a successful World Cup without Wayne. Great to see he's remaining positive !

Wayne Rooney is a major doubt for this summer's World Cup after it was confirmed he fractured a metatarsal in his foot The England striker went down in agony in Manchester United's 3-0 loss to Chelsea under a challenge from Portuguese defender Paolo Ferreira. United released a short statement on Rooney on Saturday evening stating the striker had broken his 'fourth metatarsal on his right foot'. "He will be out for six weeks," continued the United statement on their official website. With this summer's World Cup in Germany just six weeks away it remains to be seen whether coach Sven Goran Eriksson will now gamble on the fitness of his star player. The Swede opted to use David Beckham while injured in the 2002 World Cup and the England captain was far from his best. However, with Rooney a major player in The Three Lions squad, Eriksson will give the former Everton man as much time as possible to play a part in this summer's showpiece event.

The way he shafted the Pompey fans by leaving them for Southampton and then Shafted the Southampton fans by leaving them to go back to Portsmouth, demonstrates everything you need to know about the bloke. Wanker !
